The music is playing
It's soothing and plain
No jazz or loudness
Just a simple calming tune
It was the music of life.
Then someone hits the high note
And everything becomes loud
Smoothness and calmness go
There is too much energy and hatred
There is violence and rage
Alas no one knows
How to stop it!
Is it that difficult?
Of course not!
Then came a mature girl
Who I know was wise
Instead of losing the " mood"
She simply changed the note.
No one can really push your ' buttons'
If you are strong enough to resist them
It's not the brute force
But the stillness of your mind.
