Phoebe was quiet on the ride home. Victoria was driving them while Cassandra and Phoebe sat behind. Victoria glanced back from time to time, seeing the omega curled up in Cassandra's arms.

Soon enough, they arrived back at their building. No words were spoken during the elevator ride. Both alphas took a worried glance at their omega. Phoebe hasn't spoken a word since they left the courtroom. Her face is red and there are tear marks down her cheeks from crying. Once the elevator doors opened, Phoebe was the first to step out of it, Cassandra and Victoria following her from behind.

"I think I want to be alone for now. I'm going to be in my room" Phoebe rasped, not looking back at the other two. Cassandra was about to follow her when her arm was grabbed. Phoebe has been alone for a long time. Victoria knew that Phoebe needed some time by herself. The last thing she wants to do is to overwhelm the omega.

"Let her be. We should go take a shower. I'll order dinner after. Hopefully she'll be calm enough to join us for dinner and maybe we could all talk after" Victoria said after hearing the door to Phoebe's room closed.

Phoebe's feelings were all over the place. To hear her father saying that he should've killed her, ruined Phoebe. When she closed her door, her tears returned. She quickly opened her wardrobe. She grabbed the duffel bag inside and dumped it on her bed. A couple days ago, she had asked detective Wilson to get this bag from her house. The thought of running away had crossed her mind a few times. So, she had put her prized possessions, and a couple of her clothes inside this bag. She rummaged inside the bag for a while before she found what she was looking for. It was a framed picture of Phoebe and her mother. It was taken on her fourteenth birthday. Phoebe was smiling wide, bits of chocolate cake on her teeth. Her mother's arm was slinged around her shoulder, giving her a side hug. Phoebe never knew that it would be her last time celebrating her birthday with her mother. She stared at the picture wishing that her mother was here. Phoebe thought it would get better overtime. But the aching feeling in her chest disagrees.

Victoria had just closed the door when she heard a loud wail. She quickly put the food in the kitchen and rushed towards the source. She found Cassandra standing in front of Phoebe's door, knocking.

"Phoebe? Honey? Are you okay?" Cassandra called out but no answers came. The cries kept going. The redhead looked at Victoria and then back at the door. "Phoebe, we're coming in".

They were greeted by the sight of Phoebe sitting on the floor, her hands clutching the framed picture on her chest. Both of the alphas instantly went to her sides.

"Oh sweetheart" Cassandra took Phoebe into her arms. Victoria joined in, also taking Phoebe in her arms from the other side. Phoebe kept crying and crying. The alphas release calming pheromones to help her calm down. Victoria laid a kiss on top of Phoebe's head. Cassandra whispered reassuring words to the omega.

"I didn't mean to, you know" Phoebe mumbled. The crying stopped a while ago. "I should've looked at both sides before crossing. It should've been me!" She wailed.

"It's not your fault-" Cassandra said, trying to console the woman in her arms.

"But it is! She died pushing me out of the way. She died because of me!" Phoebe pushed Cassandra away, stood up, and started pacing around the room. It was then that Victoria realized there was blood on some of Phoebe's fingers. She walked over to the omega and took her hands, holding them on her own.

"Look at me," she said softly. Phoebe kept staring anywhere but her alphas.

"Phoebe, I said look at me," Victoria tried again, this time using a more assertive tone.

Phoebe slowly lifted her head, now staring straight at the older woman in front of her.

"Your mother did what any mother would do. She died saving you. She loved you so much that she did that. And I am sure she wouldn't want you to be like this."

"But-"

"No buts," this time it was Cassandra, "What your father said is not true. You did not kill your mom. It is not your fault, ok?"

Phoebe looked at both the alphas' eyes, finding only love and affection. She nodded her head and nuzzled Victoria

"There, there." Cassandra gave Phoebe's back a couple of pats. "Now shall we eat? I'm hungry."
