The next morning, Phoebe made scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. Victoria and Cassandra were enjoying their meal before they went to work. They had this routine where when the alphas were done with their breakfast, Phoebe would take their dishes and deal with them while the two went on their way.

So seeing both alphas still sitting on the dining table instead of going to work confused Phoebe. Both of them were already dressed for work which means it was definitely not a holiday. So, why are they still here?

"Are we going to get a goodbye kiss today?" Cassandra asked eagerly. Turns out that Phoebe asked that question out loud.

Both the alphas grinned when they saw they saw their omega starting to blush.

"Uh-" Phoebe didn't know what to say to that.

"We thought that since you kissed our cheeks yesterday that maybe we can do it again today?" Victoria explained.

Phoebe just became more flustered.

"But you don't have to if you don't want to. We'll understand" Cassandra reassured her.

Right there and then, Phoebe thought that she might be the luckiest omega to have such considerate alphas. She always thought that she'd end up with one like her dad. The thought of finally meeting her mate used to give Phoebe anxiety.

With that, Phoebe walked over to the space between Cassandra's seat and Victoria's before kissing both the alphas cheeks.

From that day on, their morning routine changed.

Victoria and Cassandra were awakened by the sound of someone knocking on the bedroom door. They both looked at each other. There was only one person that could be doing that. Victoria went over to the door and opened it, revealing Phoebe.

The omega lifted her head when the door opened. Her arms wrapped around herself. Her eyes were swollen and red. She had been crying.

"Oh my, Phoebe what happened?" Victoria gasped, ushering the omega inside before closing the door.

Cassandra walked over to Phoebe and put her face between her palms, wiping the tears with her thumbs.

"H-he was there" Phoebe stuttered. "It felt so real. I felt his hands on me, hitting me."

"Come sit on the bed" Cassandra led the younger girl to the bed. Victoria settled on Phoebe's other side.

"And suddenly it felt so hard to breathe, he was choking me" Phoebe sobbed. Her hand went up to her neck. "I'm scared" She bawled.

Cassandra took the omega into her arms, hugging her tight.

"Shh... you're safe. He's in prison. He can't touch you. Vic and I will protect you" Cassandra cooed.

"I'm sorry for waking you up. I tried going back to sleep, but when I closed my eyes, all I saw was him. I don't know what else to do" Phoebe choked.

"It's okay, you don't need to apologize, Phoebe." Cassandra hugged her tighter.

Phoebe spent the next few minutes in her alpha's arms. Once her crying ceased, Victoria's hands went up her face and wiped her tears.

"Why don't you spend the night here instead?" Victoria offered.

"I think I'd like that... Only if it's okay with you guys, I don't want to crowd the bed" Phoebe mumbled.

"Nonsense, there's enough space for the three of us. Come here." Victoria laid on one side of the bed and patted the space next to her.

Phoebe laid on the middle of the bed, her back facing Victoria. The older woman put her arms on her omega's waist, spooning her.

Cassandra took her place in front of Phoebe, facing the omega. She gave Phoebe a kiss on her temple.

"Good night sweetheart."
