JUNGKOOK POV

"Do you think you could be happy here?"

Was Jimin serious?

"This place is like a palace compared to where I live."

"Where you used to live, remember? You live here now."

Jimin 's face flushed.

"I mean, if you want to."

I suddenly realized that Jimin was nervous, which made no sense to him.

The man was gorgeous and he lived in a virtual palace above Central Park.

What did he have to be nervous about?

"We're married, aren't we?" I asked. Jimin nodded.

"Well, you won't fit in my studio apartment." Not that I wanted him to even see it.

"So, I guess we'll have to live here."

Except for being a little freaked out about the direction my life had taken, it wouldn't be a hardship.

The penthouse was very comfortable, I felt as if I could
sit cuddle up on one of the couches in the living room and watch television or throw a
grand party in the same space.

Jimin's answer to my response was to wrap me up in his arms and hug me.

You'd never know it looking at the man but he was a hugger.

I liked it.

"I'll do everything I can to make you happy here, Jungkook."

"You're doing it." I said as I hugged him back.

Jimin hugged me for a moment longer before leaning back to look down at me.

"Are you hungry?"

Surprisingly, I was.

"I could eat."

"Good." Jimin smiled at me before wrapping an arm around my waist and leading me toward the double doors.

"Let's go see what Ari has arranged for us."

"Ari?"

"She's a little more than my personal assistant."

"She's a friend and I have no doubt that she has arranged a wonderful wedding celebration for the two of us."

"What about her?"

"She has to eat, too."

"Ari has a condo two floors
down She's probably gone
home by now."

With every room we passed through, I was a little more surprised.

I had expected leather, glass
and chrome but that was not what I got.

There were lots of warm colors, greens, yellows and even blues mixed in with white walls and blonde oak furniture.

When we reached the dining room, nothing was there.

Jimin didn't stop though, He led me right through the dining room and out the large wooden framed accordion doors to the balcony.

That's where we found a small table fit for a feast.

Jimin helped me to my chair and then sat across from me before lifting the lid on one of the silver platters.

"Steak, lobster, baked potato."

"I'd say Ari went all out."

"I've never had lobster."
