Hongjoong
He groaned deeply head tilted back lightly as San massaged his shoulders. "What happened to you? You are so tense." He giggled lightly, not even phased by Hongjoong's deep growl. "Tell me who soured your mood. Was it a certain fae by any chance?"
Another growl, indicating San was right in his assumptions. Hongjoong wasn't easy to anger. Normally he'd be the one to tease everyone around him and spread mischief wherever he went. Oh, how the tables have turned.
San came looking for him after he refused to eat breakfast with them. Nothing out of the ordinary usually. But he couldn't just shake it off after Mingi came back with his shoulders hanging low telling him that Hongjoong slammed the door in his face when he just asked if he wanted to eat with them.
He never rejected Mingi of all people. "Nothing happened. I'm in a bad mood, I don't have to tell you anything else." San hummed. So, something did happen indeed.
"Well, you're right. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, but I would appreciate it if you'd share your thoughts with me."
He dropped his hands and walked around his king, to sit in front of him. Hongjoong avoided eye contact, his hands busy with a quill and a piece of paper. "Anbreon's high priest had sent me a raven this morning. He wants to participate as well."
San raised an eyebrow. "How unexpected of them." Anbreon was far away from them, a neighbor of Clawynne, Yeosang's homeland. The land of Anbreon was always covered in a thick layer of snow, with temperatures below zero. The opposite of Artos, to say the least.
The land was mostly populated by snow fairies and elves, but also some other dangerous species. Hongjoong despised it. He'd never get close to it if he didn't have to.
Clawynne, Anbreon's neighboring kingdom, was home to mostly witches and warlocks, as well as some other creatures who wouldn't find a suitable home anywhere else. They declared themselves a war-free zone and everyone just went with it.
Hongjoong never had a reason to attack them in the first place, to close to Anbreon. He would only visit if Yeosang begged him to tag along.
"I wonder if King Park has a hand in it. Anbreon's high priest is his distant relative, as far as I remember." San stroked his chin with one hand, the others busy gesticulating to Hongjoong.
"I don't care. Let them. I doubt that they could bring a fairy strong enough to beat Jongho." San frowned. "I do believe that they have Yeti's Hongjoong. They could also bring their own dragon. Who knows."
