Valentine smith stared at herself in the mirror, straightened hair wrapped in a circle, being held tightly by the plastic wrap. The girl had just left the hair salon, getting her back to school-style. She felt pretty, Valentine loved the feeling of being pretty since she hadn't felt it in a while.Since she left rehab-
( insert rue voice oh wait? I forgot to update you guys on that, since that little episode in the bathroom Valentine went back to drugs, like a crazy freaking amount of drugs. The clock ticked, rues vans stomping against the hallway grounds. Black shades on that reflected from the shiny floors, she entered the bathroom, letting out a deep sigh and opening up the stall door.
The camera shifts to rues face as she opens it
"Uh....." she dragged, eyebrows gluing together in confusion and being slightly weirded out by the encounter.
The camera shifts sharply back to Valentine, the background clock ticking and satisfying noises stopping pure silence
Valentine stood by the toilet seat on her knees, a pack of Clorox wipes in hand and a thick amount of white powder on the toilet seat. Her nose was a bright shade of red and her eyes were droopy and immersed in whatever the fuck this was.
The camera shifts back to rues body holding onto the stall door awkwardly, a peak of valentines hair in a messy bun in the frame but blurry. A loud gulp echoed, rue closed the stall door slowly
Rue silently walked back out of the bathroom with a displeased look on her face, corners of her mouth going to the side, still feeling the awkwardness linger.
yeah...that was awkward. So I guess like 2 months later she went to rehab or something, or hospitalized, then like has been on a spiritual journey or something. Lexi says she's doing better.
The scene shifts as rue talks, black shades still on as she tells the story on a corner of a gas station, shrugging lightly when she was done speaking. )
- she felt the need to be insanely clean, like 3 showers a day, perfume layered, always chugging down gallons of water, over eating meals for the hell of it. Rehab had a nasty feeling to it, the walls, everything was bare and dirty, just lifeless.
Valentine despised the feeling of it so much, so once she left she changed her daily routines, waking up a bit earlier than usual, and doing anything possible to just feel clean.
Scratching the back of her neck lightly, fresh white acrylics tapping against her phone, rhinestones in the shape of a French tip. Her phone dinged aggressively, smiling lightly at the support she was getting off of her Instagram from the post of her smiling, holding a Medal of Honor from finishing rebab.
Turning off her phone, and putting it in her pocket. She had on black and red checkered pajama pants, a cropped black tank top, and golden jewelry resting on her chest and wrists. Valentine couldn't stay in her house longer than 3 hours other than when she was sleeping, she had a car, so driving was always an option.
Grabbing her Mercedes car keys, ( she got a new car, thinking about selling the jeep ) strolling down the steps of her house, dad resting on the couch watching a football game, Philly cheese steak being stuffed into his mouth.
He turned his bald head sharply hearing her slippers slap against the ground, "Hunny is your location on, where you headed to?" He immediately rushed her with questions, eyebrows furrowed.
"I don't know, probably to the gas station to get a snack, Lexi wanted me to come over and go over her script for the play."
"Oh alright then, be safe, text me if...you know." He hinted towards something, and she gave him a small smile, opening their home door and heading towards her white Mercedes.
