Phabiola Fenty.
"I read your literacy fair project, it was amazing. You're such a good writer!" Susie smiled sliding onto my desk with my story. She sat with her legs crossed in one another.
I blushed at her talking to me. She made me so nervous. I've always wanted to talk to her, but I'm not good at making friends. I never talked to anyone, except-I refuse to even think of that monster's name.
"Aww shit! I made the islander blush. Look at you, you're so cute! Quit hiding your smile, I wanna see it c'mon!" She lightly tapped at my hands hiding my face.
"Stop! Oh my goodness Susie!" I cheesed harder holding my face so she wouldn't see.
"That accent baby, lord! Can I kiss you?" She laughed making me blush harder.
"Ugh Susie! Please don't do this!" I whined in a nervous way.
She took my hands, caressing them with her thumbs.
"You so beautiful girl, I don't know how you don't have a boyfriend." She frowned.
"Susie. Don't." I blushed.
Before she could interject, the school bell rang indicating class was out for the day and it was Friday. I grabbed my book bag, walking out the class room when I felt a hand intertwine our fingers. It was Susie.
"Can I come over your house?" She asked as we walked out the school doors.
"Um, sure. It's not much but what about your mom? Won't she wonder where you are?" I asked out of concern.
"I got 'dis!" She shouted like George Lopez pulling out her cellphone. Only reason I know it was George Lopez's voice was because of-I'm not gonna say it.
"She said I could come over just call to pick me up!" She smiled swaying our hands as we skipped down the sidewalk. I smiled with her.
Maybe I was making a new friend? My first girl-friend. It was weird because she's so..affectionate towards me.
"Susie, do you like girls?" I asked shyly, bitting at my bottom lip.
She laughed, her red curly flipped to look me in the eyes.
"No." She smiled.
"Okay, I mean I don't care if you do but, you are really affectionate towards me all of the sudden." I told her walking the way towards my apartment.
"I have a little innocent crush on this one guy at school, but that's about it." She smiled.
"I believe you."
The rest of the walk we talked about ourselves to eachother, she was such a bubbly person.
"Oh! Would you like some chopped cheese?" I asked pressing the pedestrian crossing button.
"Hell yeah, I haven't had that in ages!"
"You should stop cursing, Chris doesn't like that." I laughed as we crossed the street.
"Who's Chris?" Susie questioned as we went into the corner store.
I sighed, even when I try my hardest I can't not think of him. It's aggravating. Like I knew about what he does for a living, but I didn't think he handled that part of it. I just can't look at him the same way again.

Write About Me
