Today was the mayoon. The entire haveli was filled with marigold garlands handing down, yellow flowers with a pinch of light pink here and there. It was a close family occasion and the most awaited day in this haveli. Everyone wants to see Arsalan ki dulhan. Because it's their jigar ka tukra's marriage. So when you hear that it's an only family occasion, you somewhat think that okay, it's only family. How many of them could there be? Right?

But the poor girl who's tired from smiling at his relatives who used to think that is now regretting it. Because what she realized in the last 2 hours is that he has a huge family. So many cousins, aunts uncles, and dado.

"MashAllah MashAllah Kaina, tumne toh apni bete ke liye ek hoor jaisi pari laye ho." Arsalan's bari dado said. Lovingly caressing her cheeks. Eira's cheek went flaming red as she gave her a shy smile and looked away.

"Itni masoom bandi hai. Beta agar Arsalan kuch bhi galat kare na toh laga dena ek. Darna nahi."

One of his aunt said with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Her smile flattered, she can never do that.

"Ab Mujhe pata chala Arsalan isko lekar itna possessive kiu hai, dekho na bacchi daar gayi." And they broke into giggles. Eira huffed, they were just teasing her.

"Chup karo, meri payari bahu ko darana band kardo nahi toh Agar Arsalan ki kaan mein yeh chala gaya toh you know what'll happen." Kaina said slapping a woman's back.

"Thik hai bhai. Chalo tumhara shohar ka dimag thoda ghuma deta hu, come and stand here Eira. I'm a profesional photographer and I'll take all of your photos." She dragged the poor girl and the next thing she knew, her limbs were aching to take a rest. But what she realized was that the woman was persistent.

She rolled her eyes, as if she didn't knew how persistent and relentless a Hamdani can be.

Arsalan was pissed beyond words. One, this stupid ritual where he couldn't see her until they were married, two, his annoying siblings and cousins who were hell bent on getting on his nerves. They made it their personal mission to remind him how gorgeous she was looking tonight and that if Arsalan gives them some tip then they can think about showing him the pictures. He scoffed, as if this had to happen with him only.

"Lala yaar, aap bhabi ke bagair kaise reh rahi ho yeh toh Mujhe yeh samajh nahi a raha hai." Zahangir said with a slight smile. His dimples showing profoundly as his stubble made his face look ten times more handsome. He was the epitome of a gentleman.

Saya laughed lightly as Mirza, their cousin joined her. Arsalan continued signing the papers after going through them as usual. He was now an expert in ignoring their blabbering. It was like a mosquito buzzing near his ears. Annoying but irrelevant.

"Kiu?" Rewan the third oldest of the cousin group asked Saya. He has been in London for these days for a deal and so he missed when saya narrated her lala's craziness for his biwi.

"Bhai keya hai na, bhabi lala ka dil ka tukda hai. Usko neend nahi ata bhabi ke bagair. Chipak ke rehta hai har waqt and I don't understand how can bhabi even tolerate his clinginess. He didn't even let her go to have ice cream with us two days ago!" Saya said everything at one breath and ran for her life as soon as Arsalan stood up from his chair. She was still salty about that incident.

Rewan laughed out loud as his honey brown eyes sparkled with amusement. Even imagining Arsalan like that as down right imposible. Now he was curious to see them together. For a man so strict and stubborn like him to act like that for a woman meant that he truly loves her.

"Arsalan Yaar, chalo bahar chalte hai." Bashir and Rewan was only two and three months younger than Arsalan so they had a pretty good bonding.

"Tum log jao. Mujhe kaam hai." He said coldly and sat down again.
