As she sat there in her chair, the anxiety filled eyes of her secretary who burst into her room was enough to tell somethings wrong. It's almost evening and she was wrapping up her work. She wants to go home early tonight.

"M-mam, a call for you." She whispered as if fearing the person on the other side would hear her. Patralekha raised an eyebrow. Her tired eyes suddenly sharped and guarded.

She forwarded her hand and the shivering woman gave her the phone and ran away. She raised an eyebrow and looked at the number. It was private. She raised the phone and stayed silent. Not giving the person on the other side even the slightest bit of attention. But her focus was sharp. She could hear low breaths takin in. And she knew that person could hear hers too. And she will never be the one to open a conversation.

Suddenly a dark and sinister chuckle rang. It sounded scary, tight, firm and maybe the most deep voices she has ever heard. And he still hasn't spoken up.

"South huh? You're clever." A low dangerously sharp voice sounded. It was not loud but the edge in the voice was magnificent. She signed getting a clue of who the person might be.

After all it's all a part of the plan.

"Hmm." She replied as she lazily leaned back and a smirk tugged on her lips.

"Itna ghamand apne ap par bibi?" He asked, the low rumble sending signals for the upcoming doom in her life. She was playing with fire.

"Yakeen. Ghamand nahi." She replied as he did a tch.

His voice was so rough but soft. It was extremely nice to hear. If she wasn't hooked with Maaz, maybe her older self would firm a tiny liking towards the man only by hearing his voice. She's a fan of deep voice and eyes after all.

"My world is like a pit hole. It's full of mysterious memories that got buried under the surface of earth a long time ago. I hope you're clever enough not to step into the hole all by yourself, Mrs. Patralekha Ahmed. Or else.." he left the sentence dangling and the beep sound that was heard told her everything she needed to know.

He knows!

Suddenly her thoughts rumbled like a thunderstorm as her eyes became frantic. She is someone who's never frantic. She trusts herself to save Maaz but him. Maybe she can be a fool enough to step into his world with full consciousness but she'll never be the one to underestimate her opponent.

Not when the opponent is someone who's as scary and powerful as

Mirzan Iyed Bakhtier.

Her mind was a mess as it was trying to comprehend how much of a danger it's going to be if he knows them. She had read his profile and from what she knows that man is a cruel tormentor. Who knows nothing about love and humanity. She was okay if he knew her only, but the fact that he knew them was a confirmation that he too has read her profile.
