we fell in love in October
girl in red

Music was like an escape, a portal if you will. It gives you a way to be able to feel something different, feel something better than what your feeling. The lyrics could explain how you feel better than you could on you're own. It made Phoenix feel better about anything happening. An over sized Tshirt, along with a pair of grey joggers concealed the girls body, a oversized zip up hoodie.

Phoenix had always had an interest in art. She wouldn't say she's very good, nor would she say that she's very talented but she loves to sketch really anything. Her sketch book was filled with random drawings, people and nature were what she tended to draw. She found it a way to take the beauty and transfer it onto paper, drawing it how you see it. How you see someone, the true beauty that hide beneath, something that they couldn't see in themselves.

Because through other eyes it was different, threw you're own you'll always find flaws, though from others they'll always find perfection, or imperfections.

Her eyes had found themselves captive on the wall, it wasn't finished it looked perfect. The oranges and yellows blended so well unless you need close you'd never even notice the small spots of red that had been mixed in. You'd never notice what they were thinking while creating this painting.

"It's not finished" a voice spoke from behind the girl, who turned to face them, having to tilt her head a bit to find their eyes. Phoenix found herself taking in the features on his face, the way his lips parted as he glared at the painting. His green eyes that looked dule and the small freckles that littered his face. The small dust particles from charcoal, if Phoenix had to describe something a perfect she'd say it was him.

"Stop staring" he smirked slightly as he stared down at the girl who scuffed turning back to the painting. "I'm Xavier" he mumbled as he sat down a can of paint along with the brushes. "Phoenix" the brunette mumbled her eye still staring at the painting.

Nodding his head he dipped the brush into the blue paint gently pushing it back and forth, clicking his tongue every now and then. Phoenix didn't feel uncomfortable in the silence, it was quit comforting.

"Do you paint?" Xavier broke the silence looking down to the brunette who shook her head. "Sketch sometimes" she shrugged as she skipped a song.

The soothing melody slowly pumped through the girls ears as she hummed quietly. His eye brows furred together as he took a step back looking at the painting. Tilting her head the brunette slowly backed up standing a few feet from him looking at the painting. "It just looks odd" he mumbled, mainly to himself though Phoenix heard and shook her head.

"I think it looks good" she mumbled looking at the blue sky line he had created. "I've been working on this for months and It just doesn't look right" he grumbled as he set the paint brush down. Sitting on the steps with his back facing the wall the brunette stood looking down at him.

The two sat in silence just enjoying the presence.
