It was the day after the funeral. Late at night, Esther and Mikael had called forth for Ayana to  discuss perilous matters in the eyes of the village's Bennett witch.

"Ayana I implore you! You must call upon the spirits before the next full moon." Mikael urged the woman.

Ayana shook her head, standing firm with her decision the moment the two Mikaelsons proposed their idea and it was not only extreme but also danger to everything alive

Ayana shook her head, standing firm with her decision the moment the two Mikaelsons proposed their idea and it was not only extreme but also danger to everything alive. "I will not! It is a crime against Nature." Or so that is what she was taught to believe by the spirits.

"Ayana, we have already lost too much." Esther said. "We cannot lose anymore...the spirits can help us fins. way to protect our children."

What neither three knew is outside, eavesdropping is Rebekah. Things at home have worsen. Klaudia was gone because one: their father would kill her the first chance he got or beat the living Hel our of her. Two: it is unlikely her siblings wanted to see their sister for causing Henrik's death as she has heard Kol or Finn mutter it being Klaudia's fault and even Elijah calling on Klaudia for being a fool.

Rebekah knew they didn't hate Klaudia but just couldn't be around her. Neither did she. She was angry for her older sister on taking Henrik on the night of a full moon as she was suppose to be smarter than this. She was angry and just...ugh! She just wanted to hit or shout at her, yet deep down she found it in her heart to understand her sister is torturing herself in guilt and shame as it is and forgive her, given Mikael already made her sister feel like the runt of the litter or was hardly worth anything in life.

This big mistake might have tipped her sister over the scale and Rebekah was worried what her sister is up to. As much as she wanted to go find her, she needed to know what her parents intended as surely their father being a prideful viking warrior would refuse to flee. He'd want to stay and fight the wolves. Even if the wolves cannot transform because the full moon isn't due for a while, they were still stronger than even a warrior like Mikael.
