"Well, after all the things I have gone through, I ended up living on the street?" - I told myself with a little bit of a sarcasm and a little bit of truth.

I started walking randomly around the town with the suitcase. What else could I do? I'd rather be kicked out in the morning not the night, though.

Anyways, I ended up walking on a dark and narrow street, where you could hear only creepy police sirens and nothing else. There was no other people.

Well, after taking a few steps on the street, I noticed something.... A random girl around my age showed up out of nowhere. She was beautiful not gonna lie. While I was staring at her she seemed to be looking for something in her handbag.

All of a sudden a masked thief came behind her and grabbed her handbag with no shame. The girl was persistent and tried to pull her handbag back from the hands of the thief.

"Let go! Help!" - she yelled.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" - I shouted and the thief finally pulled her handbag and started running, causing the girl to fall on the ground. I ran after him.

"Yo, come back, you bastard!" - I said as I was running behind him.

Luckily it seemed like he got scared and after some race around the streets he dropped the handbag on the ground and ran away.

I took it and ran back to the girl.

"Hey, are you okay?" - I asked out of breath as I helped her up.

"Yeah, I think so. My hands and knees are scratched, but it's fine." - she uttered quietly.

"Here is your handbag." - I handed the bag.

"Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I don't know how to thank you, there is my everything!"

"You're welcome, just be more careful next time. Young ladies should not be walking on such a street that late." - I told her as I slightly laughed.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." - she replied.

"By the way, I'm Marcus."

"My name's Michelle. Nice to meet you!" - we hugged each other.

"If you don't mind me asking, where are you going? My car is right there, I can drop you off somewhere if you want." - Michelle suggested politely.

"Um, I don't know how that would sound, but I don't know where am I going either." - I explained.

"Are you from other city by any chance?" - she asked.

"No, I grew up here, but....I don't have my parents anymore, and my aunt kicked me out, so I have nowhere to go right now. But don't get me wrong, I'm not tryna get on you, quite the contrary! Excuse me, I don't know why I'm telling you that, um never mind, I don't wanna bother you!" - I got nervous, so I started talking sh*t.

"I'm sorry, I'll just.... get out of your way." - I said and embarrassed turned to leave.

Then I felt her hand catching mine. She stopped me from leaving.

"Wait, don't leave! I can't let you wander around the streets in this cold weather and at this late hour after what you did for me!" - uttered Michelle.

"You're so kind, Michelle but I don't wanna bother your parents, or your boyfriend, or whoever lives with you." - I replied.

"No, I don't have a boyfriend. My dad lives in Germany, my mom passed away long ago. I live alone at the moment. I know I just met you 5 minutes ago, but I know you're a good person when I look at your eyes." - she looked me in the eyes.

"I-I don't know what to say. But if you feel obliged to help me, there's no need. I will handle somehow."

"Come on, get in the car. I won't take a 'no' for answer." - Michelle cutely laughed.

We approached her car and I tried to open the door.

"Oh, why do I think that to open the door, you will need to unlock it? " - she made fun of me.

"Alright, go ahead. What are you waiting for? I ain't got all night here, girl." - I joked her back.

We got in the car and arrived at her quite big house, where she was living...alone?
