Monday finally came around and Lila was dreading the day, her sleep didn't last long but nor did the shower after forgetting to set that alarm last night, which meant she was very very late, so late that Stella's Jag wasn't waiting in the driveway for her, honking the horn multiple times.
Lila thought Stella wasn't joking by looks of it when she said that two was it, but a third honk was a stretch. "Let's go!" Mrs Harrington was heard shouting by the front door as she waited impatiently for her late daughter.
"Coming." Lila shouted as ran down the stairs with her bag slipping down her shoulder. "Sorry."
"About time." Mrs Harrington said huffing, as she walked out the door and towards her car, Lila following quickly behind. "If I wasn't home you'd be driving yourself."
"Steve's no where to found." Lila commented, as she stepped into the car which was already pulling out of the driveway and towards the school.
Arriving at the school, Lila was quick out of the car the minute her mum pulled the car into stop, waving one last bye as she rushed through the carpark, and pushed the front entrance doors all while speed walking down the empty corridor, shoes squeaking along the floor as did.
Normally the thought of being very late didn't matter but for once a shit was given Lila thought as she finally arrived at class where the door was already open. "Nice of you to finally join us Miss Harrington." The teacher says, while giving Lila a stern look as she entered the room and found her seat near the window.
"Sorry, I forgot to set my alarm last night." Lila said, as she sat down, rubbing her tired eyes.
Lila spent the entire lesson zoning in and out, trying to write notes and listen at the same time, but failing miserably at multitasking she turned to looking out the window instead and gave up paying attention.
Lunch came along quickly, and Lila was rushing straight to the canteen but before she could even get to the destination, she hit a wall, Eddie Munson was said wall. "Someone's in a rush." He says backing up slightly, smirking at the brunette who was all flustered and out of breath.
"Shit." Lila said huffing, while still trying to catch her breath. "J-Jesus."
A sudden wave of memory flashed before her eyes the minute Lila heard those four words, recalling that exact moment with him. The smirking while still looking at her. Lunch came quickly as Lila rushed to the canteen but before she could even get to the destination she hit a wall, Billy Hargrove was said wall. "Someone's in a rush." He says while backing up, smirking at the brunette who was all flustered and out of breath.
"Shit, you are literally rock fucking solid." Lila said, still catching her breath "Jesus, bloody hell." She said, crouched over.
"You okay, Lila?" Billy asked, as he continued smirking at the brunette who was holding onto her side.
"You're enjoying this." She scoffed.
"Of course not." He says with a smirk still plastered on his face.
"Then stop fucking smirking asshole" she said, glaring at him with a daggers.
"Feisty one you are, Harrington."
"Swipe that goddamn smirk off your face!" Lila said, before straightening herself. "See perfectly fine." She says stepping back and nearly walking into the people behind her.
"You were saying." He says jokingly.
"Well, you're in the way."
"Oh, I'm sorry I'm in the way." He says sarcastically with a grin.
