Vaylin sat on her bed comforting Anakin. She now knew the entire story, she understood that Anakin had been manipulated by Sidious. In fact she knew of Palpatine. Anakin had spoken highly of him, during their time on Ahch-To.
She actually came to admire the man, at least somewhat. She didn't know what these weird fucking feelings were inside her.
She didn't understand these weird... WEIRD feelings inside of her that just won't shut up. It's like a pest, in her soul, but for some reason she likes this pest. It's almost as It gives her strength.
"Thanks for listening to me." Anakin sniffled, sitting up his face completely red in shame.
"No problem." Vaylin said with a smile. It wasn't a usual fake smile she'd give. In fact she actually gave him a genuine smile.
"You know if you ever wanted to vent to me about something I'm here for you." Anakin said with a smile.
Vaylin hesitated before speaking up, "Th-Thanks." She stuttered out.
She silently cursed herself for stuttering like that in front Anakin. God why did she want his acceptance? She never cared for anyone else's acceptance, so why care for his?
Vaylin tried really hard to fight the blush that wanted to spread across her face at her stuttering. So maybe she was a little bit more happier than she usually was, but she couldn't help it!
Ever since meeting Anakin, she's felt so light and she honestly thinks that these past months have been the most enjoyment she's felt since she was a little kid.
Both of them have similar personalities and they just get along really well. She enjoys spending time with Anakin.
They just... click
All the effort she put into trying to make sure the blush didn't spread across her face was for nothing when she thought about all those feeling for her new Co-Ruler. As soon as she looked up to her friend's eyes, she knew that he saw it spread, which only caused her to blush even more.
Anakin tried to keep his face straight, but he couldn't help but snicker in amusement.
"What!?!" Vaylin asked defensively, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Nothing! Nothing!" Anakin quickly relented holding his hands up in surrender.
"Good!" Vaylin warned, altho she wasn't serious, and Anakin could feel it.
"You sure you don't want to talk?" Anakin asked after a few moments of comfortable silence.
Vaylin took a deep breath of air, she was nervous, and it was obvious. But when Anakin placed his arm around her shoulders she felt safer?
"Actually there is one thing..."
XXXX
30 MINUTES LATER
"Wow..." Anakin sat on the bed as Vaylin finished his story about her past, and needless to say he's quite shocked.
She told him the important parts of her life.
She told him even the things he already knew but she told him everything.
Vaylin was The Daughter of Senya Tirall and Valkorion. The younger sister of twin brothers Thexan and Arcann, she displayed incredible potential in The Force since early childhood, but was also difficult to control, causing Valkorion to lock her away on Nathema, fearing that she could one day challenge him.
In Nathema's Sanitarium Vaylin was subjected to intense mental and physical torture that broke her innocence, turning her into a sadistic person with no empathy for others.(However she's gotten free of that now a-days but she's still like that in battle)
