I walked around the halls of the university. I wished George could be here. as much as I hate to admit it, even though I got out of Florida to stop thinking about him being in the place he grew up only made me think about him more. except he Never walked this town, or these streets. god I wish I could of been born in 2020 what would it of been like? to actually be there Not in a time warp with someone you hold so close to your heart. and if I were to tell someone they would never belive me. cause people can't imagine that the unknown could be possible! but anyway.. The university is great and all but as exited as I am I'm not prepared for all the work I've forgotten almost everything after leaving high school but I'm just gonna have to study extra I guess.

but there was this one really pretty girl, I only caught a glimpse of her though.

After all the lectures and orientation I figured I would look around a bit. It was a huge campus they have a library with probably every book you could find and pretty nice dorms, as I walked around I bumped into her. That girl, A box that was planning to bring to my dorm fell, everything spilling out. "Do you need any help carrying all that?" She asked as she picked up my books and various items. we locked eyes for a split second, I may have gotten a little to caught up in them that I had a delayed response. "uh, yeah I guess that would be quite helpful" I said. "oh you have an accent, are you new around here?" She said as she picked up the box and handed it to me. "yeah.. new. I've only been here for a couple days." I responded smiling a little. she smiled back. "I'm guessing your american?" she said. "yeah I'm from florida." I mumbled, "really? why'd you come here?" she asked. now that was a tough question. I know she didn't mean any harm by it but it hurt. I sort of just walked there beside her in scilence. "is everything okay?" she said again. "no I'm fine." I reassured her. "Its just- I left home after a really good friend of mine and I sort of split ways. I hate to be reminded of him but I can't seem to get him off my mind." I said. "I understand that, I just got over a breakup and it's rough to say the least." She said. we glanced at each other. "I'm sorry about mentioning it though" she apologized. "No it's not your fault I mean you didn't know, your fine." I said as I opened the room to the dorm. "and uh, thanks again." I murmered while she placed the box on my new bed. "you seem nice, I'll see you around." she said as she smiled again, turned around and left. she had wavy blonde hair with blue eyes.
