Hyunjin's pov

Few weeks after Chan's funeral

"Here is the fils you wanted sir" My secretary smiled and she gave me the file. I looked to it and looked back to her

"What's this? Do you think this some kind of a joke?" I asked her and threw the file back in her face and she looked shocked

"But s-sir I-I everything you told me and I followed it" She said and grabbed the file from the ground

"Then do it better!" I yelled and she startled of my voice

She closed her eyes

I sat down my back on my chair and I sighed

"Just get me a cup of coffee" I said and rubbed my temples

"Ofcourse sir, right away" She said and  went to the door but when she opened the door she mumbled and I could hear it

"What did you just say" I said and she turned around

"I didn't say anything thing sir" she said

"Don't lie to me, I heard you" I said

"You said that Chan was a better boss right hm?" I asked her and I got off my chair

She nodded and she closed her eyes

"Never say that again! You hear me? I'm way better than him and do I need to remember you he's dead" I said and she nodded

"I don't hear anything like Yes sir" I said and crossed my arms

"Yes  I completely understand Mr. Hwang, I'm sorry" she said

"Now leave, make yourself useful" I said and walked to the window

My secretary left my office and I sighed

After Chan's 'accident' I became the owner of Chan's company and running a company is a tough job

"Hyunjin..."

"Huh" I thought and looked around my office. That's weird I thought someone was calling my name but I shrugged it off

I walked back my desk and sat down on the chair, I opened the drawer to get a pencil

"Shit!" I cursed when I saw my wedding ring laying the drawer, how could that be here? I left at Chan's grave

I grabbed the pencil and I closed the drawer again

After few hours

I came back home after a long and exhausted work day. I walked to bathroom and I turned on the shower in the meantime I started taking of my clothes

"Hyunjin"

Again I heard someone calling my name but how? I live alone

I continued with taking my clothes and when the shower was on right temperature I went under it

But what I didn't there was something or someone watching me in the mirror

When I was done with showering I did my night routine, brushing my teeth, doing my skincare routine

I looked in the mirror and my eyes widened when I looked in the corner of the mirror

'Murder' was written

I looked around, a bit nervous and I quickly left the bathroom and I went to my bedroom

I laid myself down under the covers in my bed, switched the light off and I fell asleep

But not a few minutes after I heard some noises and I woke up, I switched back on the light

I jumped almost out of my bed when I saw a ghost standing in front of my bed. I grabbed a gun out my bedside table

The ghost turned himself around and I couldn't believe what I saw...

Chan?

Chan was standing in front of me, crying with a knife in his stomach

"This can't be true, you're dead it's just a dream Hyunjin, wake up" I whispered

"It's not, baby" Chan said

"Don't ever call me that again, I'm not your baby and never was your baby" I snapped as tears formed in the corner of my eyes

"But I did love you, I really did" He said and slowly went to me, I got out bed and I aimed the gun on him

"Don't come near me or else I'll shoot you" I said and few tears started rolling down my cheeks. Chan slowly took out the knife and hissed when it was out

"You already killed me, remember" He said and he slowly went to me and i walked to the other side of the room

"Why did you do this me? How could you?" He said as tears rolled down on his cheeks

"Because I couldn't take any longer anymore all those years you abused me mental, physical and verbal, gaslighting me. I had enough so that was the only way" I said

"But we could figure it out, you know. I really loved you" He said

"We were arranged, Chan! You never did love me we slept in separate rooms and you just got affairs with other men and we never made love" I said and I fumbled with the door

"Please Hyunjin, listen to me.. why did you do this to me!" He said and I got a few clothes and I opened the door and ran away

While running away from Chan I was putting on my clothes

"Why Hyunjin!" I heard him saying in the mirrors

"Shut up!" I yelled and I ran down the stairs, I got my keys and left my house

I got in my car and I started the engine and I drove away

"Please Hyunjin!"

"Talk to me!"

"How could you do this to me!"

I heard him shouting inside my head and I drove to the craveyard. When I arrived I stopped the car and got my car. I ran to Chan's grave

When I arrived at his grave I grabbed a brick and threw to his grave stone yelling, shouting, screaming and cursing something out

"How pathetic" I heard chan saying and I got on knees and cried

After a few days

Breaking news
The murder of the world famous company owner Bang chan has been found

It was his husband Hwang Hyunjin who took his life and now he is sentenced to life in prison

So I first thought now this won't be getting a second chapter but huh here it is, a bit angsty don't you think
