The feeling of his lips on mine drove me absolutely insane. I can't recall how we ended up like this, but somewhere along the line all I could remembered was staring into his gorgeous grey eyes. I bite my lip and that seemed to set him off, he pull over then we started sucking faces and it's so hot. How does he manages to always take my breath away? From the first time he caught me. Even now. Very time he kisses me. I feel so weak when he touches me.
His large hands cupped my face gently not to hurt me to deepen the kiss. His tongue teased mine and the mingled slowly and passionately. I guess what the like say about Scorpios is true, they're really, really great kisser. I moaned against his lips. He whined softly and pulled away, he grabbed onto the stirring wheel and frowned. He looked toward the road to avoid my eyes." What are you doing to me?" He whispered, gripping onto the wheel until his knuckles whitened.
My stomach growled so loudly. It's really embarrassing. He looks at me with sad eyes." You're hungry?" He asked sweetly, but in a bit of a sad tone. Yes but not for food just you and only you. Forever and ever. He rubbed his index finger against his lips as if he were wiping them off. Is he regretting the kiss? Regretting me? I frowned, he looked away.
"No. I just......j-just take me home....please." I replied, then looked out the window. He sighed then started the car and we drove silently. I rested my head back on the window and sighed. I heard him sighed again but more breathily. My appetite slowly disappeared due to my new found sadness and frustration. I don't even have enough strength to fight back my tears, they just came automatically.
"It's not your fault." He broke the silence. I sniffed and looked down at my hands primly.
"That's what they all say." I said, under my breath.
"Shit." He spit. I wiped the tears always and looked at him questionably. He glanced at me with a small smile." All this." He started, waving his index fingers in the air still holding the stirring wheel." Was never supposed to happen." He continued, I shot him a puzzling look.
"What do you mean?" I questioned, in a small voice. He looked at me with his mouth in a straight line.
"These feelings that you think you have for me are not real. And you should let yourself care about me." He stated, I scoffed and looked away." Merlayla, I'm serious. I can't be trusted. You of all people shouldn't trust me. I can't even trust myself with you. I'm not good enough for you. I'm trying to keep my distance from you but I feel ......I don't know......" He trailed off, I reached over and squeezed his thigh. He pulled up in front of my house and turned off the engine. He stared out at the street, deep in his thoughts.
"What do you mean your not good enough for me?" I question, his dark lashes lowered hooding his eyes." You may feel that way but you'll never know unless you try," I stated, he kept silent but he shook his head in disbelief." If anything I'm not good enough--"
His head shot up so quickly." Shut up! Stop bring yourself down like that. There's someone out there that will give you the world and that someone just isn't me!" He blurted, my heart burned for him. What hurt him so bad that made him think that there's no future for him? Preferably with me.
"What makes you sure!" I spit, without thinking. His eyes widened in surprise, and a smirk formed immediately.
"Because Merlayla I....I don't want to drag you into my fucked up world. I'd never forgive myself if I did." He stated, covering his hand over mine which was still on his thigh.
"Just how fucked up are you?" I questioned, biting my lip and lowered my lashes seductively. He growled. I leaned closer until our lips are just a few inches away.
"Enough to break you." He retorted, smirking then leans in very slowly.
"Your playing a very dangerous game, Mr. Levine." I purred, softly. He shot me a half smile.
