Chapter 20

Knock! Knock! Knock! "Alright all ready! I'm coming!" I shouted. I rushed to the door. I swung the open open." Wha--" I trailed off. My heart skipped a beat. His arms are on both sides of the doorway, his head is low, hair dripping with sweat and he's panting. He looks up slowly, sweat running down his face." No. No! No! Not a other one. Stop! Just stop!" I shouted, he just continued watching me.

"Every time I close my eyes your there! Get out of my head and my dreams. I don't want you unless your the real thing. That... Your hoping wants more." I said, I closed my eyes then pinched myself hard. "Oww!"

Please not don't be a dream." Am I dreaming?" I questioned. He stood up straight revealing his sky blue sweatsuit he's standing on my porch. The dark skies behind him were filled of stars and its looked lovely. He cupped my face sending shivers down my spine, I reached for the zip on his track jacket and zipped it down, there a white, wet vest covering his chest. I swallowed and lifted it up, a smile grew on my lips. I stepped back so he can come in, he did and shut the door behind him then turned the door knob without breaking eye contact with me. He stepped closer so now our chests are touching. He cupped my cheek again and cocked his head, I cupped his hands with mine.

He slide his right hand from beneath mine and use it the feel my forehead." You have a fever." He whispered. He give me a small smile. I jumped when he leaned forward and kissed my forehead. He moves back slowly then grabbed my hand gently." Where's your room?" He question. I swallowed hard and pointed to the small stairs,his eyes followed my hand then he look back at me. He lifted me into his arms and walked up the stairs with me in his arms. I snuggled into him.

On the verge of sleep,  he puts me into my bed and throw the covers over me. I watched him closely, our eyes met." What? You still think your dreaming?" He smirked. I nodded slowly, his smirk disappeared. He shrugged off his jacket and took off his shirt revealing his glorious beauty. Leaning toward until his lips were close to mine." Well all you can do now is close your eyes and wait and see."

I closed my eyes and dreamed of him coddling me in his arm as we on the beach watch the sun set.

The sound of pot smashing together woke me up. I forced my eyes opened and the bright sunlight shined in my eyes. Sheltering them and sat up. I slide out of bed, then dragged myself down the stairs. The smell of food made me hungry, I ran in the kitchen expecting Cassie I found. Alejandro Levine. Dressed in boxers. In my kitchen. Cooking. I definitely wasn't expecting this. So I guess seeing him last night was real. I leaned against the doorway and watched work him work. He glanced over his shoulder and smiled." Good morning sleeping beauty." He winked and stirred the pot.

"Good morning." I said. He gestured me over with a nod to the side. I moved over to him then stopped; in front of the stove and saw soup. And boy it smells good. My stomach growled." Hmm. Smells delicious."

"Thank you. Make it just for you."

"That's very sweet of you." I said and touched his bicep. He stopped and glanced at me." I have a question."

"Ask away." He smirked and stirred my pot.

"Why did you come here?" I questioned. He turned slowly and looked into my eyes.

"I came because I wanted to talk you about....me." He stated.

"What about you?" I raised a brow at him. Jeez how nice of you.

"Merlaya I can't give you what you need. I'm not the type of guy for brings a woman flowers, dates,  crazy make out sessions on the couch or whispering sweet things in your ear. I can't give you the relationship you deserve. I'm bad for you. Really bad." He stated. My heart broke in half, no halves. Tears burned my eyes threatening to fall but I blinked them away. I looked away from him. I can't take it anymore." But your stirring something inside me that wants to do all those things you said you wanted. Wanting....more."

I looked at him bemusedly. He wants more?" Merlayla Lake your driving me to the brink of insanity. I can't get you out of my head either ever since...You fell into my arms. I can no longer deny my fatal attraction to you, I freaking ran all this way for you. And I also have a question for you too." He said stepped closer to me then cups my face, my heart is beating so fast that not even a cheetah can catch up with it. He went on his knee and pulled a small box out of his pocket. I gasped." Merlayla Lake will you do me the honour of becoming my girlfriend. Officially?" He opened the box revealing a bracelet with pretty charms like the letter A, M, a helicopter, a shrimp and the infinite sign. It's beautiful. I tears escaped my eye. I nodded.

"Yes. Yes!" I yelled. He looked at me in his belief. He smile slightly. He jumps up and kissed me passionately. He pulls away and puts it on my right wrist before kissing me again harder. He cups my cheeks.

"Where have you been all my life?"

A tear escaped my eye and I smiled, he wiped it away." Waiting." He smiled. He pulled one of the dog tag over his head and pull it over my head.

"Officially mine." He says. I looked at the inscription it said A.L. I looked up at him an smiled.

"I love it, thank you."
