"What happened to taking it slow Sesshomaru?" she asks blushing as he lifted up her chin to force her into looking at him. 

"I've realized, the past few days I've been with you are meaningful, I've never had such an urge with a woman to be mine before let alone a half demon woman.  What I'm trying to say is I've done alot on my feelings for you and although I cant understand why but you have my heart," he said grabbing her hand and placing it on his heart. 

She could feel it skip some beats as the two looked into each other's eyes. 

"Im glad, you make me so happy Sesshomaru, Im glad that I have your heart as well as you have mine," she says placing her head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around her and placed his head on top of hers.  

"Sesshomaru?" A new voice sounded as her eyes widened as the sound of Inuyasha was heard. 

They parted as they turned to see Inuyasha's group standing there watching. Sesshomaru must have missed his scent, being so enveloped in Niko's. The group looked shocked as they saw the two hugging, considering Sesshomaru's past with Inuyasha. 

"What are you doing here?" Sesshomaru growled protectively pushing Niko behind him. 

"Sesshomaru, you didn't," he growled getting upset. 

"Why little brother? Are you so worried about who I choose?" 

"YOU BASTARD! All this crap about half demons are here you go claiming her for yourself! Whats the big idea?"

"What I do is none of your concern, now I asked you a question you would be wise to answer half demon,"

"Sesshomaru," Niko frowns grabbing onto his sleeve. 

Sesshomaru looked at her as her ears were dropping into sadness. He cursed himself hating the fact that he keeps making her sad due to his old ways. He turned to her and began scratching the back of her ears having her smile up at him once again. 

"I'm sorry for using that word, I am trying to control myself around Inuyasha still I hope you can forgive me," 

She nodded her head in acceptance. 

"Just dont forget im here by your side, and a half demon okay?"

This caused him to nod, as Miroku the monk leaned into Sango the demon slayer's ear. 

"She's taming him," he whispered eyed wide as Sango nodded her head. 

"Its very impressive indeed," She responds. 

"Inuyasha, this is the last time I will ask why are you here?"

"We followed the scent of jewel  shards earlier and it led us here, from the looks of it whatever it was its gone now,"  he responded. 

"Yeah, demons were after me earlier but Sesshomaru saved me," Niko says stepping in front of Sesshomaru. 

Inuyasha's eyes darted straight to her neck where he saw the mark and Sesshomaru's scent all over her. He walked up to her, ignoring Sesshomaru's growls. 

"Did he force that upon you?" he asked concerned for his friend.

"No," She blushed looking down.  "It was of own free will," 

"So your bound to him now right?" Inuyasha asked causing her to look up at him. 

"Yes,"

He sighed. 

"Does this mean the arranged marriage is going to happen?"

"No, I dont know we haven't discussed it yet, were taking it one step at a time,"

"If he ever hurts you don't hesitate to call on me okay? I'll be there for you, us half demons have to stick together you know?" Inuyasha asks smiling as he pulled her towards him and rested his head on top of hers.

Both Sesshomaru and Kagome we're glaring at him, Kagome flustered in anger nsd frustration, no way could he have feelings for Niko! Yet the hug the two were sharing definitely spills Inuyasha having feelings for the half demon.

Her eyes saddened at the thought as they released each other.

"You better take good care of her Sesshomaru," Inuyasha stared before him and his friends left.

"Ha, how dare he interrogate who I choose as a mate," he said before turning to walk away having Niko run right after him with a smile.

"Well, you have to admit it's pretty shocking considering how I am a half demon, I really feel like I changed you for the better," she giggled causing an annoyed look to go across Sesshomaru's face.

"MOMMY!" Rin shouted happily running towards her and hugging her.

Niko laughed as she picked Rin up and twirled her around cussing her to laugh.

"My darling are you alright?" She asked nuzzling her face into hers.

"Yes mommy I was so worried about you, I ran to tell Lord Sesshomaru and without a second thought he ran after you!"

"Thank you Rin, you truly saved me,"

She smiles as she began running ahead with her arms held out wide, Jaken chasing after her as Sesshomaru went beside Niko and placed an arm around her with A-Un trailing behind affer them. This caused Sesshomaru to smile at the peace he felt.

"Our family," he says causing Niko to smile widely at him as well.

A/N: maybe a few more chapters to go! It wasn't going to be a very long story.
