Thirteen

*Yeonjun's pov (first person)*

I sat on the couch beside Han-wool -who is the second oldest- with a small smile. Han-wool glanced at me.

"What's making you happy?" He asked. "You hardly ever are."

I shrugged. "Let's just say it has to do with someone important to me."

Han-wool studied me, squinting his eyes. "Don't tell me it has something to do with that boy you kissed."

"So what if it does?" I asked, defensively. "And how do you even know about that?"

"Come on, hardly anything goes unheard of when dad's mad." Han-wool said. He had a point.

I was figuring out how to respond when he spoke again.

"And let's be honest... dating and kissing another guy? Seems kinda gross, right?" Han-wool chuckled slightly. I glared at him.

"It's not gross." I said. 

"Come on. Think about it. Like imagine kissing a guy." He laughed. "You'd have to have a hard time getting girls."

I stood up with clenched fists. "Take that back."

Han-wool shrugged. "Make me."

"You son of a-" I inhaled, trying to keep my temper. "There's nothing wrong with it."

"It's fucking weird, man. I have no problem shaming you for it, either."

"I'm gay." A new voice cut in, making both me and Han-wool look around, only to see Seo-jin watching us. "Are you going to shame me for it?" He asked in a lowered tone.

"I- well- no, but come on, you're probably just confused." Han-wool said with a weak and awkward chuckle.

"Neither of us are confused. You're the confused one." I said, glaring at Han-wool until he lowered his eyes to the ground. Then I walked over to Seo-jin and grabbed his hand. "Let's go."

*third person pov*

Beomgyu walked up the school steps and saw Kai waiting there. 

"Dude, what happened? Because Taehyun and Soobin know something I don't! Can you believe that?"

Beomgyu had to admit, it was kind of surprising, barely anything went on without Kai finding out before all of them.

"Me and Soobin broke up. Taehyun only knows because I talked to him about it." Beomgyu said, focusing on the ground as he walked.

"Whoa what? Why'd you guys break up?" Kai asked, keeping pace beside me.

"Because I still like Yeonjun..." Beomgyu mumbled. But then realized he had mumbled too quietly for Kai to actually hear it.

"Because I still like Yeonjun." Beomgyu said a little louder. Kai tilted his head to the side.

"I mean, I thought so because like, I didn't expect your feelings to just poof overnight, but I didn't think you'd break up with Soobin over it."

"Yeah, me neither." Beomgyu sighed. "I feel really bad about it."

"Is he mad?" Kai asked, and Beomgyu shook his head.

"He says he's not." 

Kai nodded. "That's good. But don't beat yourself up about it okay? When Soobin says something, he usually means it."
