exactly one month later...
Beomgyu bent down and looked between the cages. "How about this little guy?" He asked.
"Hmmm, I don't know." Yeonjun said for what felt like the millionth time. Beomgyu sighed.
"It's not hard. Mochi will appreciate any one of them."
Yeonjun shrugged. "It just has to be the right one."
Beomgyu shook his head with a smile. "You're worse then I was! Sure, I was all about finding the right one, but I'm pretty sure I found him in a lot less time."
Yeonjun grinned and shrugged. "Everyone's different."
"Ain't that the truth."
Yeonjun took a few more steps, but something caught his eyes.
"Hey, how about this one?" He asked, gesturing to a black cat. Beomgyu walked over and nodded.
"He's a cutie."
Yeonjun nodded. "He is. Let's get him."
Yeonjun opened the door for Beomgyu, who had the cat carrier.
"Mochi!" Beomgyu called. Yeonjun smiled when Mochi ran out of one of the rooms, purring.
"Is he a dog or a cat?"
"He's a uh... cog?... dat?" Beomgyu said, staring off, looking thoughtful. Yeonjun laughed.
"Both sound bad."
Beomgyu shrugged. "You're right. Anyways, Mochi, meet your new friend!"
Beomgyu set down the cat carrier and opened it, letting the black cat come out. Both cats sniffed each other, but eventually purred.
"Well, I guess we should name him." Yeonjun said, sitting cross legged on the floor with Beomgyu beside him.
"How about Dango?" Beomgyu asked, and Yeonjun couldn't help laughing.
"Dango? Where'd you get that from?"
"Well, Dango is similar to Mochi." Beomgyu said in a matter of fact tone.
"But, it sounds a bit... weird." Yeonjun said, honestly.
"Fine. We'll get a second opinion then."
Beomgyu opened the door for Kai and Taehyun.
"Welcome, love birds." He teased.
"Speak for yourself." Kai said, walking in.
"What was so important that we needed to come right away?" Taehyun asked.
"Weeellll," Beomgyu began. "Me and Yeonjun got a new cat, and we need help deciding the name. I want to name him Dango, since it's similar to Mochi, but he thought it was weird."
"It is." Yeonjun chimed in.
"I actually think it's a good idea." Kai said honestly. Taehyun nodded his agreement.
"So it's settled." Beomgyu said with a grin. He picked up Mochi and Dango in each arm, and kissed Yeonjun before kissing both cats on the head.
"Dango, welcome to the family."
