Yeonjun presses me against the bathroom wall. The coldness of the bathroom tiles comfort me.
My blue head thuds gently against the tiles. I tuck my iPhone 12 Pro Max back into my pocket with a sigh.
Yeonjun dips his head down a bit, hair surrounds his eyes as he stares at me.
The bathroom door is closed, the rest of the members are outside muttering in panicked voices.
The phone continues to buzz like an ambulance siren.
I lower my gaze. Father's face flashes on the phone screen.
"That bastard called you!" Yeonjun finally shouts, his hands balled in fists.
"That danggit, that bastard called you!" Yeonjun grabs the glass cup that's used to hold our toothbrushes and smashes it against the wall.
"HE'S NOT A BASTARD TO ME!" I shout at him, slamming my phone hard onto the bathroom tabletop.
"BECAUSE HE LOVED YOU." Yeonjun shouts back.
His body is shaking with anger. I press my hand against a chest and I can feel his breaths.
"Calm down." I say coldly. His breathings slow.
The phone continues to buzz.
I move towards it calmly and pick up.
Yeonjun looks shocked but I narrow my eyes (so much like my brother's) and answer.
"Annyeonghaseyo?" I answer.
"My darling girl, is it you?" Father asks.
"Yeah." I say.
"How are you doing?" Father asks.
I shift from foot to foot. "Fine." I answer.
Yeonjun looks about to leap at me and snatch the phone off me but I give him a warning look.
"Are you alone?" Father continues to ask.
"Yes." I lie.
"Okay, so you know that Yeonjun is the CEO of Leo Apartments and you so desperately want to be the CEO right?" Dad quickly says.
"Yeah, no one knows how much I want that position." I murmur.
"What position?" Yeonjun says.
"Shut up." I mouth.
"YEONJUN, CAN YOU NOT BE POSSESSIVE ALL THE TIME?" Huening kai opens the door, he's never angry but here he is. He grabs my arm and pulls me out of the bathroom.
"IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Yeonjun yells at Hyuka.
I muffle the speaker.
"WHAT WAS THAT?" Dad shouts at me.
"Sorry, father it must be the people outside on the streets." I say.
There was a reason as to why I wasn't saying the truth.
