Chapter 15

Cheryl's POV
I was watching everything. Toni won. She got back first. And brought the biggest thing but as she crossed the Finnish line she just started sprinting towards the school I don't think i have ever seen any wolf run like that before it was like her life depending on it. Everyone that once was cheering for the winner was now looking around confused. I stood up but alpha stopped me "we will go after the games" he said I sighed and sat back down and looked over at betty who was just as worried as me. It was another half an hour before everyone's as back but as soon it was over alpha stood and gestured for us to follow so we did. "Hello mr topaz! I wanted to talk about your daughters progress! She is top of all her classes and she is really good with the other students, you should be very proud topaz" Cornelia? Is that her name said he smiled proudly "I have no doubt. Now speaking off where did my daughter run off too? Does she even know she won?" Alpha said seriously the woman looked around confused then her eyes widened "oh yes. Well there was a accident in the witches games so she might be with her girlfriend...Zoe? Or Maddison? I can't really remember they spend there time in the library mainly." Girlfriend? Ouch I felt betty hold my hand and give me a sympathetic look "can you take us please?" Her father asked and Cornelia agreed. We balled down a few halls until we came to the hospital side which I recognise from last time "Matilda what room is the girl in?" Cornelia said to one of the nurses who just pointed not looking up from the book she was reading. Then we got to the room. The blond girl Maddy? Was in the hospital bed and the other one was in the chair right next to her and then I saw toni. She was sat on the chair next to Zoe but she had Maddison's hand in her own crying and I think..praying "toni" alpha said getting her attention she shot up "dad, betty" she said worried then her eye fell on me "Cheryl..." she said wiping her eyes "what? What are you guys doing here" she asked looking around "we came to see you and the games" betty said before I could say anything "the games are fucking stupid" toni said sitting back down and holding onto maddy hand again. I was definitely jealous completely and utterly jealous. Am not ashamed of it. Well as long as no one else knows am not ashamed of it. "You won" I said quietly "I don't care Cheryl" toni said coldly I heard my wolf whine and I stood back. "How about we give you some space T do you wanna be alone with her?" Zoe said nicely she nodded. We all hesitated but Zoe basically pushed us out.
Tonis POV
I held onto maddys hand tightly holding back the tears "now look who is the stupid one...maddy this can't be it. I can't leave you without knowing you are okay. So I won't leave maddy just tell me. Tell me to stay here with you and I will mads please wake up. I will do anything you want if you just wake up for me.you could come with me! You and Zoe! We can be a family you guys could be apart of my pack! Or help me run it. I will let you smoke in my room all day every day just please please mads give show me something, anything to show me that you are there and you hear me." I stood up angrily and started to pace. I stopped and looked at the helpless girl I picked up both her hands and held them to my head "please, please Maddison I love you" I heard the words come out my mouth and I knew Cheryl would be listening but they where true I do love maddy but in a family way. Like she is my sister, same with Zoe. "T-toni?" I heard a weak faint voice say "I-I love y-you" then she passed back out I jumped up and tan out side "she was up! She woke up!" I shouted mainly at zoe who rushed in but of course she was a sleep again I got comfy on the chair ready for the long wait for her to wake up again "toni we will be leaving soon have you packed your stuff?" My father said I looked at him like a joke because he is joking right? "What you think am leaving now?" I looked over at Zoe and I could tell she didn't want me to go "you have to toni this isn't your home it's time to come back now" i laughed slightly "am not going anywhere until Maddison kicks me out or walks out with me"
Cheryl's POV p
I felt the jealousy and pain rip me open even more "what if thats takes month or another year toni? Betty said trying to convince her "then I wait the months or the years. I am not leaving her" she said looking between us all like she was ready to pounce on the next person who tried to change her mind "go" we heard in a whisper toni leaned down closer to her mouth "go home" she said her eyes still shut
"no, no am not leaving you mads me and Zoe will be right here for you" toni said gripping her hand she looked over at me slowly then she tried to rub her face gently "I will join you." She said in pain "go home...alpha" she then added with a smile toni stood up smiling "you write me as soon as you are better! I will personally come get you both! Call! text! Every single day I want to know everything about everything" toni said with a sad tone she gave Zoe a hug then they hugged again "just in case" then toni turned back to Maddison and placed a kiss on her cheek then her hand "you better rest up, I want you back with me In a few days okay?" Toni said to maddy fake seriously. Their relationship makes me sick. Physically. My wolf was almost killing herself "yes boss" Maddison said trying to mover her arm to salute like a army soldier but obviously she failed. "Come on toni let's go" alpha said walking out the room without another word she looked at me and Betty "what the hell is his problem" she said seriously I just shrugged not able to speak to toni calmly right now "well let's go then" she said sadly waving at Zoe and maddy one last time "Jesus get a grip you will see them again" I thought to myself angrily walking away just following the smell of alpha. Toni slowly packed her things as we waited in the car all in silence. After an hour she came to the car with her bags and threw them in the back. Just as she was gonna get in we heard "oi topaz!" We looked out the window and there was this different girl stood there with this smug Lovy look in her eyes. Nope I don't like her. "Don't miss me too much, our loving staring battles across the hall will forever be in my dreams" the girl said laughing slightly "shut up Misty, I knew you where in love with me" the girl bowed dramatically "and yet our love story ends" she said in and old English accent I could feel toni roll her eyes. I felt soft lips press onto mine but I wasn't kissing anyone I looked back at the two girls and Misty had toni pinned to the car gently while kissing her. Toni pushed her off and wiped her lips "you did that on purpose, fuck you misty" toni said making me feel a bit better about that "it was just a present so you remember me or so you come back for me ether one" Misty said laughing "thank you Misty for being the kick up the arse I needed. You are beautiful and funny, you will find the person you deserve. We couldn't have had a love story if you where never my lover. Bye Misty" then she got in the car with me "Jesus you really have to fight back the woman" betty joked but I just glared at her. The car ride was awkward and silent. Not what I thought this day would look like. After a few hours I felt someone lightly shake me I must have dozed off because I realised my head was lay on Tonis shoulder I got of quickly and apologised she just smiled then got out me and Betty looked at each for a split second then followed along with alpha. "Welcome home T" betty said yawning "what the hell is this?" We heard toni say looking up at the huge pack house. We completely forgot to mention that we all now live in the big pack house. "Oh yeh surprise, Cheryl will you show her to her room, come find me in the morning love we can talk." Betty put her arm around her best friend with a smile "we have a lot of catching up to do" she said before waving to us both then heading inside. Toni was just looking at the house in shock I stayed silent not sure what to say to her. "So...are you showing me to my room?" Toni asked me trying to get me too look at her but I just stayed silent "talk to her!" My wolf Sophie said whining. I walked into the house toni trailing behind. Me and toni stayed in silence as we continued to her room. I pushed open her door for her and she walked in "we didn't decorate it so you could do it yourself" I said quietly she nodded. It was one of the biggest rooms we had here. I went to turn to go to bed but toni stopped me "where are you going?" She said dropping her bags and looking at me worried "to bed?" I said like a question "don't..don't you think we should talk before we just...forget everything?" She said. Sophie jumped at the thought of being alone with toni even if it is just talking. I agreed and walked back into the room and watched as toni shut the door.
