Chapter 9

Cheryl's pov
I was sat on the stairs with my black crop top my black skirt with my red jacket over and my long black boosts. I was just waiting for any of my senses to pick up on Toni and after ten minutes of me of waiting I finally was able to smell Tonis sweet perfume coming closer. I jumped onto my feet and my heart started going crazy "maybe I should just tell her am sick! Fuck I can't what is she goes back to hating me and saying am not her mate!" Before I could  panic anymore there was a hand on my shoulder I turned and saw it was betty she had a stained face from crying but a soft smile on her lips "I want you to have this she loves sunflowers" she said placing a necklace with a small sunflower on my hand I smiled "I never apologised for being so horrible to you at school" I said looking into her eyes she giggled "that's because you don't have to you never said anything about me or too me unless it was to make Toni angry" I smiled a little "I don't deserve your or her forgiveness" I said honestly betty rolled her eyes then said "no you don't but it's mine and tonis choice and if you want to be with her u will stand by her side . Just be prepared to talk the most Toni with carry the conversation but you will end up talking the most. Watch her eyes if she looks out the window more than three times in the space of a few minutes she is bored and wants to leave so suggesting somewhere else to go. If she doesn't order food  she is embarrassed just don't mention it. Try and keep eye contact as much as you can toni likes knowing your focus is on her. Be yourself. Prove to her you won't hurt her again." Betty said quickly while straightening out my jacket and pinning some fallen hair behind my ear "she will die when she see's you" betty said with a sad smile I was about to ask what was wrong when Toni swung open the door. I smiled and she just stared "Toni?" Betty asked just as confused as me she smiled "you look gorgeous" but then her face changed "is it Ok if I really quickly go and see Veronica?" I looked at betty "you probably shouldn't do that she isn't very...happy with you" Toni sighed but then suddenly she sprinted up the stairs betty was immediately hot on her trial and I just walked. There was a bang which caused my wolf to worry so I quickly walked but when I turned around the corner I saw Toni on the floor with betty wrapped around her Toni had her eyes closed and a small smile while she was grabbing onto betty for her life but betty was holding her just the same "I have missed you so much" betty said sounding like she was going to cry again Toni just giggled but then said "I have missed you to B" betty jumped up and started to punch her in the stomach "you promised me! You promised!" She said before collapsing back into her arms but this time she cried. "I know, I know am sorry it won't happen again" Toni said trying to calm her down but it didn't work so she sat up and leaned against the wall betty was hidden in the crook of her neck. I can't lie I was a little jealous at how careful and loving Toni was being with betty but I know toni and betty are only friends so I will deal with it. Toni looked at me then mouthed "am sorry" I smiled and sat down next to her "never do that to me again" betty sobbed Toni held on tighter as tears started to fill her eyes "I forgot what was important to me but I know now...I won't leave you again" Toni promised "b?" A small voice spoke from down the hall betty didn't move she just gripped Toni tighter "its Veronica...B? Do you want her?" Toni softly asked as Veronica crouched down next to us with a worried look betty shook her head and buried her face further into Toni's neck. Toni had a smile on her face that was adorable "come on B your coming with us" Toni said while carefully standing up betty still attached "Veronica can you drive a motor bike?" Toni asked Veronica just nodded as she tried to grab Betty's hand but she just moved away. Toni threw her keys at the girl completely ignoring what just happened "good,drive my bike to pops with Cheryl I will meet you there I have an idea to get B feeling better" she said before she grabbed my hand "am sorry about this but um....betty is my priority right now I hope you understand" I smiled and rolled my eyes "of course she is and I understand I would do the same don't worry" i said honestly Toni leaned in and placed a kiss on my cheek "thank you" she said then walked away my wolf leaped up and got excited my face heated up and my stomach went crazy. "Does she not love me?" Veronica said from behind me I turned around and pulled her into a hug "don't worry v of course she loves you betty is YOUR mate and Toni is mine. You have to remember that, that was the longest time that they had been apart they have been attached since they where born can you remember the time we where apart for a hole year when u moved to New York then when you where back we didn't leave my room for weeks we just sat and watched movies" Veronica smiled I put my arm around the girl as we started walking out the house. Toni and Betty where gone by time we got outside I could still catch both of there smells from in the woods next to the house but I didn't bother following I just hesitated before jumping on the back of Toni's motorbike that Veronica is driving. It was maybe a 20 minute drive to pops. When we pulled into the parking lot of the dinner we saw hobo and two of his snake friends when they saw us they started walking to us. I sighed as hobo shouted "where the hell is toni?and why do you have her bike?" I rolled my eyes and got off ,Veronica got off after me " it's non of your business hobo" I said back to him with a bitchy tone they all looked at each other then all three of them put there hands in there pocket but they where interrupted by a familiar laugh "omg that was so fun! Thank you TT" I heard betty say happily as the two girls ran out of the trees "that's Oki B I have missed you so much" Toni said as they hugged then they looked at us "oh hey is everything ok here?" Toni said looking at the boys they nodded there heads "yeh of course...um we will be outside if you need us tiny" hobo said at they started walking away back to there bikes. Betty pounced onto Veronica and started kissing her face "am sorry,am sorry,am sorry" betty repeated Veronica was smiling they look so happy and in love. I felt someone grab my hand it was Toni she smiled and said "come on red" I smiled and blushed at the nickname Toni had given me as she dragged me into pops betty and Veronica giggled then followed us. Toni found an empty booth and sat down I decided to sit in front of her. Veronica sat next to me and betty sat next to Toni "Toni's wolf is so cute and adorable!" Betty said smiling at Toni "no she isn't" Toni said with a huff "come on! That little brown dot on her nose is adorable!" Toni rolled her eyes "it's not adorable!" Toni argued back making me giggle. Everyone started to talk until pop came over and took our order then one of the serpent boys ran in with wide eyes and heavy breathing "we have been here for 10 minutes what's wrong?" Toni said obviously annoyed. "We have to go they are back!" The boy said quite looking around to make sure no one was paying attention to what he was saying. Toni shot up and smiled at me apologetically then said "am really sorry this is important" then Toni was gone out the door and on a bike, my wolf cried "well that didn't last long" Veronica said looking at me to make sure am okay "I don't understand why she joined that gang" Betty said sulking. We decided to Finnish our food making small talk then we payed and left. "Am really sorry Cheryl I know you where excited about your date with Toni" I sighed at betty's words and said "it's okay I understand...family over anything" Veronica patted my back then turned to her wolf and ran into the woods following Betty. I watched as the two wolfs disappeared into the woods I sighed running into the woods and turning into my wolf form.
Tonis POV

The bike didn't even get to fully stop when I pounced of it, my wolf threatening to jump out. "Toni wait" I heard jughead shout at me but I completely ignored him and ran into the white worm. As I entered the building there was two gangs on each side, on one side was familiar faces with FP Jones stood looking tense and the other was greasy and new. "Toni come here" FP commanded I quickly did as the man said not taking my eyes of the opposite team "how dare you come into our territory" FP said anger in every word. The air in the building was tense "your snakes came into our territory first" said the leader stepping forward. I growled under my breath but only earned a warning glare from FP, I shut up and just watched "your snakes have injured so many of my people and I can't just let that slide" said the leader. "You took my daughter of course we where going to send some trouble your way!" FP said threateningly "come on FP you know your out numbered here! We only came for the girl then we will be even and there will be no war" said the leader gesturing to me. FP looked at me then sighed. I know what I have to do. "You can't have her-" "fine! You take me and there is no trouble? No war?" I said stepping forward "you have my word" said the other man with a smile. FP grabbed my hand and shook his head I just smiled and winked at him. His eyebrows crossed in confusion and he let go slowly "you don't have to do this T" FP said as I walked into the hands on the enemy. They tied my hands behind my back "don't worry Jones am a topaz" I said confidently the man behind me spat on the floor and started to walk out with me "we are gonna have fun" he said in my ear I smiled "yes we are"
