10 . Secure the allies

"Hey Paris . Over here !" Seems I've made new friends .

"History today was such a drag ." Willow mumble before taking a healthy chunk out of her cheese burger . Mags nods along letting out a moan when she throws a grape into her mouth .

"Carter is one fasinating creature . "Mags nods her head to the table behind us . Carter sits right next to Danny and she is giggling .

"Makes no sense . "Willow motions to the scene playing out .

"Actually it does . That's his group . His people . It's always been London , Carter and Danny through fights and disagreements . "I hated both my sisters best friends . I always thought they turned her into a little demon . Turns out she is just a little demon with or without . My little demon . Notice I said hated both . Now I just hate one (Danny ) . Carter's not so bad I guess .

"You can't forget the minions ." Bob ( Mandy ) , Kevin ( Lana )and Stewart ( Kaylee) all flutter around their table like love sick puppies .

"One can not be that desparate to be apart of their crew ." Mags retorts stealing a chip from Willow .

"Clearly three can be ." Willow nudges me in the ribs . I don't giggle instead I let out a sigh of relief because I'm sit with them . No I do their erands . London calls me to sit by her because I'm her sister . I'm known as the weirdo at their table . They send me to get more drinks , get more chips and many more . So , I barely sit . Why do I do it ? You see , I'd be lost without London . I mean she and her friends do bully me but at the end of the day I belong somewhere even if I'm their slave .If Willow hadn't called me over I'd be out on the soccer field eating my lunch behind the bleachers . I wasn't going to go anywhere near Danny after the shake thing .

"Paris ." Darron nods in my direction as he passes me . I don't look at him instead I just send him a nervouse wave .

"What's up with you two ?" Willow raises a well groomed eyebrow in my direction .

"Ex boyfriend ." Is all I say nibbling on my apple .

"I see . "She thinks for a second .

"Who ended it you or him ?" Too many questions asked from someone I just met today ...

"Ummm... him ." I don't look her in the eye but I hear her bang her palm against the table .

"Unaccetable !" I go to shush her as her rucus is creating a scene . I bat at her shoulder because now eyes are on us .

"You need a makeover . We need to make him regret his disscion . "I roll my eyes at her while I chew at my apple .

"And where might that get me ?" I retort .

"No you see . Make him regret . He come crawling back . You reject ." Mags pitches in . I giggle at these two and just shake my head .

"I'm okay thank you ." I sigh as I stand to throw my left over apple in the bin .

Huff . I bump into something , more like someone ...

"Sorry , didn't see you there shorty ." Joey chuckles rubbing the back of his head .

"Shut up . "I punch his shoulder . This tall hunk of gorgeous boy is Joey Chan . He is an Asian exchange student and the soccer team captain . His got that shiney black hair that falls gently over his head . His got bangs that make me want to run my fingers through his hair to get them out of his face . His got these small , almond shaped eyes and super thin lips . Freckles are painted on his cheeks that are held up by his high cheekbones . He is absolutly gorgeous and he knows it .

"Missed you at lunch today ." You see I was caught eating behind the bleachers . Joey initally thought I was spying ... no stalking him . But he thought otherwise when he realized I'm too akward ( the good kind of akward he said ) to be doing such . Ever since then he sits with me when he can.

I gesture to the girls . He smiles and high fives me .

"Ahhh so that whole I have no friends thing was a stunt ... huh ." He playfully smirks .

"No really I just met them today ." I smile towards their table .

His hand lifts towards my hair making my breath hitch . "Ummm ... I know it's a mess . There was this thing..."

"It suits you more . "He cuts me off playing with one of my springy curls . I flush and he just smiles at me .

"Just don't forget me short stuff ." He winks when he takes my half eaten apple from my hand and takes a huge bite out of it before walking off .

He leaves me blushing and shaking my head . Only he can do such .

"Paris !" Willow calls out to me .

I walk back towards the table . "Girl I was wrong you don't need no makeover you should have seen Darron's face when you were talking to Joey ." They giggle . I look towards Darron's table and see him missing in action .

"He stormed out after Joey took your apple ." They throw their heads back with laughter .

"That wasn't my intention though ." I state making them laugh even harder .

"That's what makes it worst ! You're not even doing anything !" I shake my head at my new friends as they laugh until lunch is over .
