Saturday, during the Winter Carnival....

Sammie enter the courtyard to find the snow shoveled away. Bright, colorful booths replace the red lunch tables.

Sammie: Oh wow, they did a magnificent work for the carnival.

As she take in her surroundings, a familiar voice calls out to her.

Payton: Sammie! Sammie! Over here!

Sammie approach Payton at the ticket booth as she holds Maria a couple of tickets.

Maria: Thanks again, Payton! This carnival is amazing by the way. Hey, Sammie, I'm sure I'll see you later.

Maria flashes a smile before running off to the sled hill. Sammie step up to the front of the ticket booth. Payton grins at her.

Payton: OMG, I love your sweatshirt! You look sooooo handsome!

Sammie: I think you mean warm.

Payton: Oh, totally. You'll definitely be the talk of the carnival looking that stylish. Anyway....Do you want to buy some tickets?

Sammie: Yeah, I'll take two!

Payton hands her two tickets from across the counter.

Payton: With that you'll get a taste of the carnival, but you won't be able to hit up everything. But for a little more you can get one extra ticket and explore more of the booths! Although....I have a special deal right now, just for you! I'll give you a whole roll of tickets! You'll be able to do all the things then! It's almost like you have unlimited tickets.

Sammie: Well, in that case, I think I'll stick with the two.

Payton: Well, if you want more, you can always come back!

Sammie: Thanks, Payton. Now to figure out what to spend these on....

Sammie take her tickets and look around the courtyard at the multitude of booths. She notice Emma drinking some hot chocolate by the statue of Ollie the Tiger.

Emma: This is so good. I need to talk to Sydney about this recipe!

Sammie: Looks like the carnival's doing great so far.

Mia hostily passes by Sammie at the ticket booth.

Sammie: Where are you running off to, Mia?

Mia: Don't you remember? I'm running the carriage rides! There's a huge line right now. But find me after you're done enjoying the carnival! I might be able to squeeze you in.

Sammie: Sounds good! I'll look for you later.

Mia disappears from view as she turn her attention back to the booths.

Sammie: Hm....I've got some time before my shift at the sled hill. Where should I go first?

Sammie walk over to the dunk tank. Julian calls out to everyone around the area.

Julian: Step right up! Step right up! Try your hand at dunking the football legend himself....Caleb Mitchell!

Caleb sits on the seat above the steaming water, while Michael throws baseballs at the target.

Michael: Heh. Reminds me of football season last quarter.

Michael throws a baseball....It misses to the left of the target.

Caleb: You sure you were our quarterback?

Michael: Watch it, Mitchell. I'm used to throwing a football, not a baseball.
