Saturday evening....
Sammie stare at her closet, debating what to wear to Payton's party.
Sammie: Hm, this isn't bad....
Her dad knocks at the door and enters.
Scott: Ready for the big party, Sammie-bear?
Sammie: Yeah, just trying to figure out what to wear....This calls for something special! The whole school is going to be there! What do you think, Bonnie?
Bonnie stops running on her hamster wheel and looks up at Sammie.
Bonnie: Squeak....?
Sammie: My thoughts exactly.
Scott: How about one of these new outfits you were saving for a special occasion? I bet you know who would love it....
Sammie: Dad!
Scott: I'm sure no one could keep you a-party then!
Sammie roll her eyes.
Sammie: Oh, Dad....that one was bad.
Scott: Thank you! I'll be here all week.
Sammie take another look at her closet.
Sammie: But you might have a point....these both look really good.
Sammie puts on the party on outfit.
Sammie: Oh yeah, I think this is perfect!
Scott: You're going to be the star of this party.
Sammie: Thanks, Dad.
Scott: And I won't say who, but I think a certain someone won't be able to keep their eyes off you....
Sammie: I hope so!
Sammie spin in front of the mirror to examine her outfit once more, and she hear a faint sniffle from across the room.
Sammie: Dad! Are you....crying?
Scott: No. It's just that my little Sammie-bear is growing up so fast! Come here!
Scott squeezes Sammie tightly.
Sammie: Aw, Dad, I love you, but I need to go to Payton's!
Scott: Okay, get outta here! Enjoy the party!
Soon, at Payton's house....
Sammie enter the large, sprawling mansion to find it packed with all of her friends. People clump together in groups around the room.
Sammie: Oh whoa, looks like the entire school showed up for this party!
Payton spots Sammie from across the room. She immediately rushes over and hugs her tightly.
Payton: Ahhhhhhh! Sammie, You're here! Welcome, welcome, welcome!
Sammie: Payton, great job! This party is AMAZING!
Payton: Thanks, but it was nothing! As long as everyone's enjoying themselves, it's totally worth it. And I am in awe of your outfit! You look magnificent!
Sammie: Dawwwwwwww! I appreciate it, Payton!
Payton: And besides, this is nothing compared to some of the old parties i used to throw here.
Sammie: Seriously?
Payton: Oh yeah, there's the time we had a rocket for Nishan's birthday party, or the enormous gingerbread house at my holiday party....great times.
