•Lilian's POV•

"Ok, your turn,"

"Hang on let me think,"

We're currently eating lunch and asking each other questions to see what we agree on and vice versa, so far, we disagree on a lot of life's big questions but according to Laura that makes it more fun because we get to argue.

"Ok, I got it. Would you rather get rid of Monday or Friday to have a long weekend?" I ask.

She thinks carefully about it for a few minutes "Definitely Monday, no one likes Mondays,"

"Really!? I would pick Friday,"

"What why? I love Friday,"

"When you think about it if you get rid of Friday, Thursday becomes the new Friday, then you get a three-day weekend.

If you take away Monday, Tuesday will only become the new Monday and you will end up hating Tuesday.

I would rather love another day, then hate another one." I explain.

"That sounded Hella confusing, but I get where your going, for me Monday just has a bad vibe," she says.

"To each their own I guess," I shrug.

"I don't think anyone won that round, but it's my turn so be prepared to lose,"

"You can lose when it's based on personal opinion,"

"Oh, whatever your just mad because I'm winning,"
"Sure, let's go with that,"

"Then you simply change it into standard form, and you are done,"

Laura leans her head back and whispers "Nothing about this is simple,"

I lead up closer to her "I know right, she's explaining things too fast,"

"Girls is something more important than my class right now," The teacher asked us from the front of the class.

We both shake our heads and Laura leans back in her seat but not before rolling her eyes dramatically and sighing.

"You may have the rest of the class to work on the sheet if you finished hand it in and work on homework for your other classes.

Laura sighed and turned her chair around so we could work together "I don't understand what the fuck we are doing,"

"Me either,"

Eventually, we get an idea of what we are supposed to be doing, it took me a hot minute to memorize the formula and the patterns but after that I was good, I handed in my sheet and helped Laura work through hers.

"I thought you said you didn't understand?"

"I didn't, now I do," I say.

"I wish I had your brain,"

I laugh "No you don't,"

"Fine, I would like to be as smart as you,"

Chase: Hey Gorgeous, do you have plans after school?

Me: No, I don't work today, I was planning on reading through.

Chase: Do you want to come to practice with me and then go to my house?

Me: Sure, what time?

Chase: Four

Me: See you then.

Chase: Bye sweetheart.

I look up from my phone to see Laura staring at me with wide eyes "Who are you texting that has you blushing so much?" she asks, "Oohh, Chase forgot about him,"
