Chapter 49

•Lilian's POV•

Walking down into the kitchen I see Abby  sitting at the table," Hey Abby,"

"Lili?! What-?"

"I'm sorry,"

She gives me a sympathetic look before standing from the table and walking over to me. "Are you ok dear?"

"Mhmm," I nod. She raises an eyebrow before opening her arms for a hug.

I walk forward wrapped my arms around her, she presses her lips to my head holding them there for a moment before saying "I miss him too,"

We pull away after a while, "you know you can come over whenever you want, we love having you here," Abby said.

"Thank you," I say softly.

"How about you and Andy come over for dinner next weekend?" She suggests.

"I would love that,"

"Of course dear,"

"I have to get going now so I'm not late for school," I saw starting towards the door.

"Have a nice day," she says as I leave.

Abby is the perfect mom, or at least what I imagine one being, I think my mom and her would be best friends.

I send my dad a quick text to see if he can pick me up while I start walking home. I make it about halfway before he picks me up.

Rushing into the house I quickly get ready for school, throwing together a simple outfit I pair one of my favourite black long sleeve body suits with black jeans.

I add some gold jewelry-including the bracelet Chase gave me and my mom's necklace and finally some black Converse.

Grabbing my bag and sending Chase a quick good morning text, I say bye to my dad and another thank you before driving to school.

"Sup Lils,"

"What are you doing tonight?" I ask taking my seat.

"Tyler is taking me out for dinner and a movie!" Laura exclaims excitedly.

"Awww, you guys are too cute," I beam.

"Says you, but thank you," she smiles brightly.

I love seeing her this happy, she and Tyler truly are couple goals.

"Guess what! Guess what!" V asks excitedly taking a seat across from us.

"What?!?" Laura and I ask.

"Ok so I was talking to my brother who apparently has connections at Black for some reason and he gave me the number of some dude who-never mind that does matter.

Anyway long story short I convinced them to steam all of Chase's games online so we can watch!!" She rambles.

Stop-

No way.

"Oh my god! Violet," I gasp rushing to stand to hug her.

"You're welcome," she hugs me back tightly.

"How did you do that? I thought they-,"

"I'm magic," she shrugs.

"Thank god for you, last night me and Chase were talking and he suggested setting up his phone on FaceTime or recording it, but this is so much better," I say gratefully.
