It's been weeks since the scandal, Germany was literally thrown out of the world cup, in the most disgraceful way ever..

Kai was completely devastated, everyone was talking about him, his national team was out, his mom and dad won't speak to him, they didn't know about his relationship with me, and now they're mad for him making it a secret and I actually don't know why!

He had his hair shaved, his skin was pale, he didn't eat, he didn't sleep, black halos lived under his eyes, he literally looked like a junkie. He was like a living corpse!

I was worried sick, he just won't speak to me, he didn't attend the trainings any more, cause his coach gave him a leave..

I wanted to tell him why! Why that's all been happening to him, it's because of me, I left a crazy lover alone whom his heart is corrupted..

" Kai, please just eat something.. " I said and I was holding a sandwich in my hand, begging him to eat it

He raised his green ones to look at me, and then he put them down again

" I beg you, please! " I begged him one more time

" At least speak to me! " All my words were in vain

" Okay Kai, if you want to die it's on you, you're so selfish, there are people out there who need you, your family, your team, me! So it's not much of your choice to die and bury yourself in the room forever! " I snapped at him

" Are you listening to yourself, Mikky! I'm here because of you! I'm destroyed because of you! I may be kind and sweet but I'm no fool! I know these are Frenkie's doings, and in fact I don't care much, you know what hurts me the most Mikky? " He snapped back, and I almost saw tears in his eyes

" What! " I was quite surprised

" That you'll never love me as much as you loved him, that I'll always be the man who tries to fix everything! That will always makes sure you're happy, living all his life to please you! " He uttered the words without caring much about how I'd feel..

" Look Kai Havertz, If my feelings are anything I could know about, they would be love! I hold much love for you in my heart, and I'd do literally anything for you, why are you playing the same game! Why are you pining it on me! " I cried as his eyes were looking at me in misery

" So why do I feel like I'm trying so much, I never felt like you wanted me, to touch you, to kiss you, to have sex with you, like I'm not allowed! Like you're always gonna be his! " He was so angry

" Why aren't you hearing me!! I love you Kai Havertz! " I yelled

" So If I tell you now to marry me will you?? " He wondered and I was completely shocked

" What? " I said almost subconsciously

He opened the drawer beside the bed and grabbed a little blue box out of it, and I wished that it wasn't what I expected..

He opened it and it was a diamond ring, THE DIAMOND RING

" I've been keeping this ring with me since I was 16, it's my mom's, she trusted I'd find the right girl to bring her home with me, and now I'm asking you, will you marry me, Mikky Kiemeney? " He said, and seemed so serious

" Kai.. it's not your own choice, you're depressed and confused.. you can't decide that alone.. " I tried to bring some sense in him

" Look! You really don't love me the way that I love you! You still have second thoughts, after everything I've done for you!! If Frenkie asked for your hand after a minute of the abuse you'd just throw yourself on him in tears saying ' yes ', but me? No no you always have second thoughts about me! Cause I'm always living in someone's shadow.. " he yelled and I could only hear my heart beats beating so loudly

" Kai please! Just don't do that! " I started to cry begging him

" I can't do this anymore, I gave my everything.. I don't have anything more to give you, Mikky.. " he said and saw all my memories with him flashed before my eyes, the start of everything, he was so happy, he laughed alot, he liked to dance around the room, spreading positive energy, his wide smile in the kitchen in the morning, making breakfast for two.. I ruined this boy's life, and what hurts the most is that he is totally right, I still have Frenkie in my weak heart..

" Please Kai, just leave this matter behind! If I'm sure that you're in your right mind, I'd have said yes! But you're so confused baby I know it's hard on you I'm sorry.. " I kneeled down to him, I held his face in my hands, he was sitting on the bed..

" Let's call this off.. " he was as cold as ice, saying the words that destroyed my love life..

A tear escaped my eye, I couldn't believe a word he said, this isn't my Kai speaking, this is a human being after Frenkie de Jong decided that he'd destroy his life...
