LEARNING SESSION

Zabrina's Pov

"Why do you want to learn dark magic?" tanong ni Narzicus nang makaupo kami sa sofa sa loob ng drawing room. It's spacious and had that comfy ambience. It's where you would like to entertain your visitors. And talking about visitors... I almost forgot that he is here.

"To tell you honestly, I have a nightmare last night" paguumpisa ko habang inaalala ang napaniginipan ko kagabi. And As far as I can remember. I dreamt of... Tumingin ako sa itaas...

"That I got abducted by the prince of the Solestriea Empire and bring me inside a dark forest then you appeared to save me but you're emitting a dark aura in front of me" pagkukuwento ko sa mga naalala ko sa panaginip ko. And when I look at him, nakita kong nanigas ito sa kanyang kinauupuan kaya nagtaka ako. What's wrong? He looks me in the eye and....

"You said, you 'dreamt' of that?" tanong nito at diniinan ang salitang 'dreamt' at tumango naman ako bilang sagot. He massage his forehead looking problematic. Why is he acting like that suddenly? He shooked his head and close his eyes. Well, that dream is definitely a problem. It might be a warning or something.

"Okay, then what is the connection---" saad niya nang mabalik siya sa ulirat ngunit hindi ko na siya pinatapos at sinagot na siya kaagad. I smiled and told him.

"I just felt that I'll be facing danger soon, so I decided to learn more about dark magic where I can protect myself from any harm" wika ko sa kanya at pinagmasdan siya. But he remain silent as if he is thinking deep thoughts. So while I wait for his reply I walk towards him. I saw a book on the table infront of him so I pick it up. Ito siguro ang binabasa niya kanina.

I almost laughed out loud when I read it's title. What's this?

'How to find a girl to marry?'

Why is he reading something like this? I look at Narzicus to check ok him but my eyes widened when I saw him glaring at me. Napatingin ako sa hawak na libro at napatingin sa kanya. Uh oh. Nabitawan ko ang libro at nahulog ito sa lamesa. I awkwardly smiled at him, forgetting what just happened.

"Whhy are you reading--" before I could even continue my question he already cut me off.

"By thinking carefully, I've already made my decision, and I'm not going to teach you, and that's not going to change either you like it or not" wika nito habang seryosong kinuha ang libro na nasa lamesa. Hmmp. Is it because I discovered about his little secret mission. I bit my lip to stop smiling. It's already obvious.

"Okay" sagot ko na lang at nagkibit balikat. Let's just act like we didn't see anything. Lumabas na ito at narinig ko pa ang malakas na pagsara ng pintuan. He is really unhappy about that? How sensitive? How come I fall for his looks without knowing his real personality? I sighed. We can't avoid that.

I smirked. But don't think that I'm quitting already, of course I'll ask him once again the next time, I won't stop unless he accept my request...

THE emperor called me aaftewards, pagkabalik na pagkabalik ko sa aking kwarto. Gusto ko sanang magreklamo pero wala naman akong karapatan na magreklamo. I pouted. And because it's the emperor calling me, agad akong pumunta sa opisina niya para alamin kung bakit niya ako pinatawag. But why did he call me this time? I wished that I won't hear anymore bad news.
