Amaryllis Jane Emery was born to the werewolf alpha named Deucalion and the Goddess Zeusa, aka the twin sister of Zeus who shares the powers of her God brother. But Zeusa was found by her family while she was pregnant with another wolf, and Amaryllis was 9, and was to be killed for having a child with another werewolf instead of a human or another God or an Angel of her fiancée. The rest of the Gods told Zeusa it was her or the child that dies and Zeusa sacrificed herself when she was found and forced into the heavens by her triplet brothers Thor and Zeus.
Deucalion wasn't ready for a child yet when Peter dropped his daughter off with him, he went to someone he knew would take her in; a doctor in Beacon Hills, California - Melissa McCall. Deucalion and Melissa knew each other before he shifted and had to leave. They would have been together instead of her and Raphael McCall if Deucalion had never left.
Melissa did take the child in and she offered an open adoption so Deucalion could still know his child. His daughter. He agreed to it to he can know his daughter who's full name became Amaryllis Jane Emery McCall after the open adoption was finished.
When Amy was 12, she started experiencing weird, inhuman things and she went to Melissa about it. Melissa didn't believe her until one day two years later when Amy was 14 when electricity shot out of her fingers. Melissa called Deucalion, who she knows is a werewolf because she witnessed the shift, and asked him about Amy's mother because her powers came out.
Deucalion told Melissa that Amy's mother was the Goddess Zeusa and Amy's uncles were Gods and aunts are Goddesses. Melissa learns that her daughter is half a goddess and half a werewolf who hasn't phased yet. Melissa went to Doctor Deaton, Scott's boss, because Deucalion told her about him being an emissary for supernatural creatures while Alan Deaton's sister is the emissary for the Alpha Pack that Deucalion has started since he became an alpha.
Alan helped Amaryllis gain control of her powers until she was 16 and learned control. But it was when she was 17, going on 18, and a senior in high school when her life changes indefinitely when her other side comes out to play unwillingly.
