"His eyes were glowing?" Scott asks.
"There was something almost ritualistic about it," Chris Argent says as Deucalion stands behind him while Allison matches her dad up. "Like it was looking right into his soul."
"That's the same thing it did to me," Isaac says.
"And me," Amy says.
"That's what it did to everyone," Allison says.
"Not everyone," Scott says. "They only came after the werewolves. They went after Amy because she's part one."
"And Lydia," Allison says.
"Anyone with a connection to the supernatural," Chris says as Deucalion touches the 5 behind his ear he got years ago shortly after high school before he and Zeusa got engaged and had Amy.
"Then who was the guy they went after in Japan?" Isaac asks.
"A kumicho," Chris replies. "A yakuza boss. It was my first gun deal. I was only eighteen and it was supposed to be a simple exchange. Except Gerard left out the minor detail of the buyers being yakuza. He wanted to see if I could adapt in the moment. Testing my ability to improvise."
"Or your ability to survive," says Allison.
"The moment the sun went down it was like they just materialized out of the shadows," Chris continues. "They had swords, not curved like katanas but straight, black steel. Like ninjatos."
"What did they want?" Scott asks.
"To get to the kumicho," Chris says and he explains more of what happened on that day.
"How did you get out of there?" Allison asks after a long time.
"Deucalion was there for some reason and he got me out alive," Chris says.
"We knew that Katashi has been in town for a while," Deucalion says. "That's where we were yesterday, tracking him down. He didn't want to be found."
"Does he know what they are?" Scott queries.
"Maybe," Chris says.
"What if he doesn't want to talk?" Allison asks.
"What if he doesn't even remember you?" Isaac asks.
"Maybe he'll remember this." Chris opens a move and removes a blanket, revealing a broken mask. "I know it didn't kill it. I'm not sure you can. But I slowed it down."
⚡️🐺🐺⚡️Amy goes home and she sits on the couch, gazing at her engagement ring. She's still amazed that she is Derek Hale's fiancée instead of just his girlfriend now. She still can't believe that he proposed. Amaryllis looks up when the door opens and she sees her fiancée entering. He hands her the half-off Halloween candy.
"You're the best!" Amy exclaims and she opens the bag of candy. She pulls a miniature Hershey's chocolate bar out and she pops it into her mouth. She gets up and she puts on her shirt, she was in her uniform pants and a tank top. "I have work."
"Okay, Deputy Emery," Derek hums and he kisses her. "I love you, soon-to-he Deputy Hale."
Amy kisses her fiancée before leaving the loft and she takes the elevator down. She drives her Nova to the police station and parks with the other personal cars and heads inside to get clocked in.
⚡️🐺⚡️🐺⚡️Everyone gives Raphael harsh glares as he passes through. He's trying to get Stilinski fired. No one is happy about that. Not even a little bit.
⚡️🐺⚡️🐺⚡️Amy is talking to some deputies over some lunch as Derek and the twins go to the McCall house to help Scott. Deaton put in a new mountain ash security system since Amy put her electricity one on the loft where she and Derek live.
"Marco's Pizza is one of the best pizza places in California," Deputy Rogers comments.
"It's good," Deputy Jordan Parrish, a newer guy - he started around the time Amy did and he's her partner as of today -, admits. "Thanks for being the lunch supplier, Deputy Emery."
"It's Amy while we're not on the streets arresting people," Amy corrects. "We're partners now, Parrish."
"Jordan," he corrects.
Everyone continues to eat and talk while the McCall pack. Amy gets a text from Isaac telling her what these shadow things are checking for. A nogitsune, or Void, a dark kitsune. Amy puts her phone away and she goes out to her desk to file some stuff into the database and she works away.
