Heathers Sad Story

Chapter 22

-heathers P.O.V.-
So Roman went off to talk to Lew alone, about what, I don't know. But what I do know is that Amber looks a little mad. And she has a baseball bat, that's never good. on my phone is vibrating, oh it is still must be a phone call.

"Hey Amber. I'll be back I'm getting a phone call" I said while walking away.
I answered the phone call.

Me: Hey, it's Heather
Max: Hey Heather, it's Max. I need to tell you something and I know I should tell you in person but I don't know how and I know it would be just horrible to tell you through text. you are not going to take this well at all. so before I tell you, are you near Lew?"
Me: no he's talking to roman in private.
Max: go to them and ask to borrow Lew for a moment.
Me: ok.
Lew: hey. it's lew.
Max: I need you to be there for Heather. I am about to tell her something that will make her drop. She will not react well to this. Do you understand?
Lew: ok. I understand. Wait, who are you? And what are you going to tell her?
Max: I am Max, I'm like a father to Heather but I'm not her father. You might know me as Emily's husband, or Johns dad. And the thing I am going to tell her is that Emily, the person she looks up to and that keeps her in line, is dead. She killed herself two nights ago.
Lew: oh yea she told me about you. And wow my poor baby. She isn't going to react well to that at all. Ok. Here she is.
Me: he Max, it's me. Now can you tell me?
Max: it's about Emily... You know how she's in the hospital?
Me: yes, I know she's in the hospital. What about it?
Max: she died two nights ago. She slit her throat and she died.
Me: oh my god. I-I-I got to go

I hung up and I dropped to the ground and I burst out crying. Lew hugged me and he put his loving arms around me to calm me down. He kept trying and trying. Roman heard me crying and he grabbed Amber and ran over to me, when amber saw me crying she had to know what happened.

"What happened Heather? What's wrong? Do I need to beat someone's ass?" Amber asked.

"Max called and gave her really bad news and she is not taking it well." Lew replied.

"What did he say? What happened?" Amber asked.

"Emily is dead." He told her. Then Amber dropped to the ground and cried also, Roman comforted her. So both me and Amber were on the ground bawling because we were both really close to Emily. She was like a mother to both of us.

*later that day*

Lew knew I wasn't going o stop crying any time soon so he brought me to my apartment and he set me down on the couch. He kept me company and he got me to smile again. Lew is always able to make me smile no matter how bad the situation is. And he's always there for me.

"Thanks boo, for comforting me and for everything. Your so sweet and I'm so great full to have a boyfriend like you." I told him.

"Your welcome baby. And I would do anything to make you happy. I hate to see you sad and depressed or hurt, I love to see you smile." He replied.

"Awe. I love you." I told him.

"I love you too baby." He replied before he kissed me.
