Heathers Sad Story

Chapter 27

I am so happy that Lew is mine. He makes me so happy. He makes me feel loved even on the worst days, he is the best guy a girl could ask for. He compliments me and he is so damn sweet. With him I never feel alone or unloved. He helped with my depression, he helps get me away from my bad addictions slowly. He is the best guy I have ever and will ever be with. He has my heart always and forever.

*the next day at school*

"Hey amber" I said.

"Hey Heather!!" She yelled, while running toward me. I looked behind her and I saw Lew, he was walking toward me and he was smiling.

"Hey boo" I said.

"Hey baby" he replied

We walked over to the lockers hand in hand. He took my backpack off of me and then after that I collapsed. Right onto the ground, Amber and Lew ran to me and asked me if I was ok... I wasn't able to respond. I was trying but I wasn't able to for some reason, I wasn't able to move or anything. I was able to blink and hear and think but I couldn't move or respond. All of the sudden Lew yelled...

"SOMEONE CALL 911!!"

"Lew you have a phone. You call." Amber reminded. After that he quickly got out his phone and he dialed 911...

911 operator: 911, what's your emergency?
Lew: hi I'm Lew, I need an ambulance at New Prairie High School by the freshman side we are outside and my girlfriend just collapsed. She's breathing and blinking but she can't move or respond.
911 operator: ok where do you need an ambulance to go?
Lew: New Prairie High School, it's in New Carlisle. And we are the 3 kids outside by door E5.
911 operator: ok, an ambulance is on its way.
Lew: thanks!

And with that he hangs up. Then he goes to me and amber and he lifts me up and he tells amber to follow him. He takes me outside door E5 and he sets me down on the concrete very gently, he was careful to not drop me or hurt me. A minute later we hear the sirens and when they saw the ambulance amber and Lew got up and started waving their hands to try to get the drivers attention, it worked and the ambulance drove over there and put me on the stretcher and put me in the ambulance. Lew got in the ambulance but Amber went back inside and went to class. William was just getting to school when the ambulance was driving away so he doesn't know what happened. He went to go talk to Amber about it.

"Hey cousin, what happened? Why was there an ambulance?" He asked her.

"Heather collapsed and she was able to blink and breathe but she couldn't talk or move." She replied.

"Oh my god!! Why didn't anyone tell me???"

"You weren't here and we were focused on getting her an ambulance."

"Well which hospital is she going to?"

"I don't know yet. We will know when Lew calls and tells us. He rode in the ambulance with her."

"You let him ride with her in that ambulance??"

"Yes, he is her boyfriend. As much as I love him he is hers and he has a right to go with her if he wants to. They said I could also come in the ambulance but my heart would break if I did because I'm sure that he is saying sweet stuff to her and telling her how much he loves her."

"Oh you still love him?"

"Yea..."

"And he is dating your best friend?"

"Yea.. She keeps telling me every day I should get over him, but I can't. I love him."

"I agree with Heather. You need to get over him. Your dating roman! Roman and Lew are best friends. They are like brothers, and you are dating one brother you can't go after the other brother. It's just not right. So just try to get over him. Don't talk to him and don't think about him until you are over him or I'm telling roman."

"Why?"

"Because it's not good for you and it's not good for Heather, she is afraid of loosing him and she's crying almost every night now because she thinks about when you and Lew we're together. Her heart is breaking and she is with the guy of her dreams but she can't be happy because you bring up when you guys were dating and she tries to change the conversation when you talk about when you were dating him and you change it back. So please just get over him. If you get over him it will help you and your best friend. She texts or calls me when she cries about this and she doesn't want to tell you or Lew about this but it is really how she feels."

"Ok. I'll try" after that Amber gets a text from Lew.

Lew: we just got to the hospital. I'll send my location so you can follow it.
Amber: ok thanks
Lew: *sends location* your welcome. So are you going to come here to see Heather?
Amber: no, but William is. Be nice. Not for me but for Heather. You know how pissed she gets when you guys fight. I'll make sure William is nice.
Lew: ok. I'll be nice.
