Chapter 38

Amber had kept me company until Lew got here. As soon as he got here she got her stuff and gave me a hug and she left.

"Hey baby." Lew said as he walked into my apartment.

"Hey boo" I replied.

"I missed you."

"Missed you too. Also I hope you don't mind but around 3 when me and Amber were still awake, I called Xman and I invited him to come here and hang out with us. I hope that you are ok with that and I hope you didn't think we were going to be doing anything that would involve us being completely alone." I told him.

"No that's great. And I knew we weren't going to do anything like that, your upset so of course. But yea of course I'm ok with Xman coming here to hang out, he's my best friend." He told me.

"He's my best friend too." I said as I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and it was Xman.

"Come on in Xman, Lew is already here." I said.

"Hey buddy." Lew said to Xman.

"Hey Lew" Xman said to Lew.

"So hey guys, what do you want to do today?" I asked them.

"I don't know, what are the choices?" Lew asked me.

"Watch a movie? Play a trivia game, watch tv, go to the library, go to the park, go to bourissa hills, go into the woods, go to the basketball court here. So what do you want to do?" I replied.

"Hmmm... You guys want to play basketball?" Lew asked.

"Sure." Xman replied.

"Yea." I replied.

"Ok. Come one. Heather get your basketball and let's go." Lew said as I ran into my room to get my basketball. I got it and I ran back to them and we all went to the basketball court. The basketball court is just a basketball hoop on some concrete. There only one hoop though. So we all played horse. I did not win. I was the first one out. After me it was down to Xman and Lew. Then, Xman goes to shoot the basketball and Lew tries to get Xman to mess up and he thinks it's not going to make it, it rolls along the rim of the hoop.... Aaaannnnndddd...... It plops in the hoop! Now Lew has to make it from where Xman made it. Lew throws the ball and it's all net! So then Xman misses the next time he throws it so Lew won!

After that, we just sat at the picnic table and we talked for about an hour. It was so much fun hanging out with them. I just wish everyday could be like this. I had never had so much fun or laughed so much or smiled so much in my life. They are just the best. They are able to make my day just by being theirselves.

"So, what are we going to do now?" Lew asked.

"Hey you guys want to go to dollar general to buy candy and pop?" I asked.

"Heck yea!" Xman said.

"Sure." Lew said.

"Ok. Let's go!" I said while laughing and walking toward the road. It took us about an hour for us to get there, but once we were there we went through the aisles for candy and pop. We got sour gummy worms, Pepsi, dr pepper, and sour patch kids. We want to check out and we payed then I had the boys carry the bags on the way back. They carried the bags with pride. Haha they carried it with it over their shoulders and they had there heads up and there chests puffed out. It was hilarious.

We got to the park with the candy and pop and the park has skate ramps their so we went onto a big ramp with our stuff and the boys jumped off the ramp after they put me and the stuff up there, they went somewhere I couldn't see and they came back with 2 skate boards. They went up and down the other ramps and they were competing it looked like. Trying to see who can go down the ramp without falling. But they both eventually fell because the ramp is steep. I just ate some candy and drank some Pepsi while I watched them. Just then my phone rang, it was in my pocket so I pulled it out so I could see who was calling, it was my mom. Lew and Xman stopped and watched me while I talked on the phone.

Me: hey mom, where are you?
Mom: I am with your brother and grandparents, we are on our way to Florida. Have fun, we are trusting you home alone. I am transferring Aj to the school down in Florida and since you are almost an adult I decided to leave you there with the apartment.
Me: oh... Ok... Well I love you and I miss you.
Mom: love you and miss you too. And we have to go because we are almost to Florida. Bye love you.
