Chapter 23

*after Roman moves*
-Romans P.O.V.-

"I am so excited. I love it here! There's a mud puddle in my back yard! I can't wait to jump in it! But I have to wait until I'm home alone so my parents don't know! Wait, I'm alone. Why am I talking out loud? And to myself?" I said. Oh hey, I just realized im home alone now. MUD PUDDLE TIME!!!!! So I jumped into the puddle and mud splashed and it hit the house. If my dad or mom sees that I'm screwed.

I got the hose and I sprayed the house to get the mud off. And then I went and got clean clothes and I got into the shower then I put the clean clothes on and I put the muddy clothes into the washer. My phone buzzed, I had gotten a text. I went to go check it. It's from Lew.

Lew: hey buddy.
Me: hey
Lew: how is your new house? Are you having fun down there?
Me: my new house is awesome, there's a mud puddle in my back yard! And I am having a lot of fun down here. How is everything up there? How are you and Heather? You two still together?
Lew: that's great. And everything up here is great. Me and Heather are great and we are still together. Are you and Amber still together or did you dump her?
Me: that's awesome dude. And me and Amber are still together, and I haven't dumped her. I'm not sure if I even will. I mean, I know I was going to but I think we can make this long distance relationship actually work.
Lew: oh that's cool. Also Heather messaged me and asked me to tell you she says hi.
Me: tell her I said hey. But hey Lew, I have a question.
Lew: yes?
Me: what do you see in Heather?
Lew: she's awesome and beautiful and gorgeous. Well you know. Haha. She's just awesome and gorgeous. What do you see in her? You also dated her.
Me: I don't know honestly.
Lew: well I know what I see in her. Also what do you see in Amber?
Me: she's pretty and cool. And she's strong.
Lew: ok.
Me: yea, but hey I have to go. My mom and dad are home now.
Lew: ok. Bye buddy
Me: bye. I'll talk to you later.

"Hey mom hey dad!" I exclaimed as they walked into the front door.

"Hey Roman!" My dad exclaimed.

"Why did you change your clothes?" my mom asked me.

"Ummm... How was your trip around the neighborhood?" I asked trying to avoid answering her question.

"It was good, now answer my question, why did you change? She asked me.

"I was sweating in those so I changed into these clothes. That fine?" I asked.

"Are you sure that's the reason?"

"Yes."

"Then that's fine."

"Ok... Hey do you guys remember how I was dating Amber when we lived in Indiana? And how you guys talked to me about how few chances there are that our long distance would work?"

"Yes, why? Did you break up with her?"

"Not exactly. I told her I was moving and we decided to give our long distance relationship a chance." I said as I walked up the stairs to my room.
