Chapter Twenty

Isabel Esmeralda Rodríguez POV

It has been 6 days and my appointment is today. I don't know if I want to do gender reveal or just not but we will see today. I was wearing what I usually do, gray sweatpants and an oversized shirt and my hair is a messy bun. And of course I have showered. I also haven't touched the medicine since then.

These six days have been okay I mean the same routine but now Eli and Diego are more up here and we play and talk and do everything with each other and it has been quiet in the room next door Eli said they broke up or something. I went downstairs and saw everyone sitting in the living room. So I ran out of the house and into my car. When I was about to start the car Amedeo got in.

"Out now" I said and he just sits there "I said out now" He was ignoring me fucking manwhore. I don't want him here, he has his own car plus I wanna do my daily crying in the car and that won't work. "I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY CAR RIGHT NOW" I yelled at him "You are causing a sceen" Amedeo said looking at me and my family who was runnig to out from the house to see what was happening.

"I don't care, like you said 'I want attention' and you're right I loovee it, I am an attention whore" I said and he looked at me shocked. "Who told you that?" He asked me. "Don't worry about it but just know I know everything you all said about me" I said and started the car and drove off.

When we got to the parking lot Amedeo got out and he waited for me to get out but I didn't, he was looking at me in confusion. "What are you doing?" He asked me. "I want my alone time, so go I will be right back" I said and he leaves me. I then cried, I don't even know who I am anymore I hate being like this. I hate this so much but I am doing it for them, and I will finish this and make them regret the words they have said about me, well except for Hernando and Jack.

When I finished I went into the hospital seeing Amedeo sitting in the waiting area and Audrey came and saw Amedeo and me "Esmeralda Rose Santiago" She said and I went after her. When we got to the room I sat on the bed and she was sitting on the chair while Amedeo was standing up.

"How are you?" She asked me "Better I dont have morning sickness anymore" I said and she nodded. "Well it is normal because you are now starting on your second trimester so week 13 to week 26 it is kinda soon until you will be giving birth" She said.

And we will be leaving everyone.

"Yeah" I said in a low tone, feeling the tears forming in my eyes. So I was now just looking at the ground. "Have you used the medicine?" She asked me and I nodded. "When" She asked me and I looked at her and then at Amedeo. "The same night you gave them to me" I said and lowered my head. "Okay have you used them in other times" She asked me "No but I was closed to but I didn't want to risk it" I said "Good because the risks is that it does increase of blood loss after the childbirth" She said "Then you will have to stop taking them" Amedeo said.

"Why do you fucking care if I take them or not, they actually helped me alot so I might take them once a week" I said. "Not if it's gonna cost your life" Amedeo said. "I dont care I would rather feel better than shit every fucking day" I said back in a louder tone. "Okay stop yelling and being angry is not good for you while being pregnant so dad I want you to make sure that she doesn't get angry at all or much that might also help her and feel better" She said and he nodded.

"But you came here for something else, a baby gender reveal. Do you want to know now or should I put it on a paper? '' She asked, "I don't wanna know yet," Amedeo said. "I want to know," I said and she just nodded. I layed down on the bed and took up my shirt a little and lowered my pants a little too. She then takes the transducer and moves it around my belly. She stays quiet and then writes on the paper. She then gives it to me.
