Chapter Twenty four

Isabel Esmeralda Rodríguez POV

3 months have passed and today is 29 may and I am in week 36 and one month away from giving birth. I kinda have been like a bitter person this past month. I am not ready to leave my babies or my family.

Come on Isabel don't think like that you will get back to them with our plan.

True but I still can't believe it's soon. Plus my back hurts so bad like damn. Alek texts me every now and then but he is still mad about me and Amedeo, even though nothing happened or almost happened he was still mad. My family have been planning a baby shower and both my mom and Bianca have been super excited for it and they have been planning everything.

I went downstairs and my family was there already and Amedeo. Oh yeah I have been ignoring Amedeo, I am not even talking to him or even looking at him. "Isabel come and plan with us" My mom said. "No not feeling like it" I said and went to the kitchen where Alora was. Oh yeah Alora is like part of the family now, we all love her. "Are you hungry?" She asked me. "Yes I am, could you please make me something" I asked her and she smiled. So I went and sat on the dining table waiting for Aloras food.

Then comes mom, Bianca and Amedeo. "Isabel this is super important now could you please plan with us" My mom asked me and I just don't want to. I don't want to be reminded that I wont be here anymore. "No I am too tired right now mom" I said. "But come on just this one time the baby shower is in two days so come on" She said, I looked at my mom. "Okay just a little bit" I said and she smiled. She quickly took a seat and started to talk to me about everything and so did Bianca while Amedeo was just looking at me. After a while we were done and Alora came with food done. "I made some for everyone by the way" She said and they got up to take some.

When I finished my food I went up to my room and over to my bed to sleep. When I was about to sleep I heard a faint knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked out loud and Amedeo walked into the room. "Uhm what do you want?" I asked while looking at him. It looked like he was about to say something but then changed his mind. "Uhm, when is the next appointment?" He asked me. "In two days" I said and looked away. I then heard a door closing. I looked over to see no one there. I then went to sleep.

Two days later and it is appointment day. I already got ready and was in the car. Now I am just waiting for Amedeo to come and drive this car. It is kinda hard to do normal things while you are pregnant. He got in the car and started driving.

When we got home after the appointment it was awkward. The whole ride was silenced and no one talked. I went to my room to change into something more cute. I took out a dress that was yellow and flowers on. It was just so cute. I also did my hair half up and half down hairstyle. I look cute and my belly has grown so much.

I went downstairs to see the decorations up and it looked amazing. Many people were already there. I went over to my parents who were talking to Amedeo's parents. "The party looks amazing thank you" I said to both my mom and Bianca. "It's no problem," Bianca said and my mom agreed, I smiled at them. Amedeo then came and I didnt even look at him. It got quiet for a second and then the photographer came. "Okay so it's time for the photoshoot, so can I please get the mom and the dad" He said and I nod.

The photographer started to walk, and Amedeo and I followed him. "Okay so can you both stand next to each other" He said and we stood next to each other. "Could you get closer?" He asked and we nodded. He came closer to me. "Can you put your arm around her waist?" He asked Amedeo. He then puts his arm around my waist and I felt my skin tingling. "That's good, now smile please" He said and both me and Amedeo smiled. He then takes a few shots.
