Chapter Twenty nine

Isabel Rodríguez POV

I woke up in Amedeo's bed and I actually don't know how I got here. I was watching movies with Amedeo and the twins and then I fell asleep on the couch. Maybe he moved me up here. I carefully got up from the bed and went to the babies. Antonio was already awake and I know he will cry soon because he is hungry. I went out of the room and downstairs preparing two bottles. When I was done I went back and Antonio was already crying so I picked him up and started to feed him the bottle. Amedeo then comes and sees me. When Antonio was done eating Allegra started to cry and I knew the other bottle would be colder so I made it a little bit hotter so that it wouldn't be as cold as it usually is. I rocked Antonio and put him back to his bed and picked up Allegra. I started to feed her and she got quiet. When she was done eating I rocked her and then put her back to her bed.

I looked at Amedeo who looked shocked. "How did you do that so fast?" He said and I smiled. "Mother's Instinct" I said and patted him on his shoulder. More like I have been watching you over these last months

That sounds just creepy

Right. "Isabel, I have a question for you" Amedeo said and I looked at him. "What is it?" I said. "Why do you have an blackeye and a busted lip?" He said and I didn't know what to say but then I laughed. "Why are you laughing?'' He said and I then stopped laughing. "It was just a funny story, okay so Alek and I were walking down the streets and I wasn't looking my way so out of nowhere I hit my head on a pole, it was quite funny. Why did you ask? Is the black eye showing?" I said and he shook his head yes. "Okay I will be right back" I said and left his room. I went to my room and quickly covered the black eye.

I then went downstairs and into the kitchen where my mom and Bianca were. "Hi good morning" I said but they didn't say anything back. I then went into the dining room and saw Elisa and Diego there. When they saw me they got up from their chairs and ran up to me and I got down on my knees and they both hugged me hard. My whole body hurt when they both ran up to me so I squinted my eyes shut and bit my lip hard, I tried not to make a sound. When I opened my eyes I saw Amedeo looking at me suspiciously. "I have missed you so so so much" I said and let go of them. "We missed you too aunty Isa" Elisa said and I smiled. "Did you know we have cousins now, twoo cousins!" Elisa said and I laughed. "But they cry a lot," Diego said. "Yeah I know that, they are my babies after all" I said and Elisa looked shocked at me which made me laugh harder.

"Alright let's go eat breakfast or what do you think" I said to them and they nodded their heads. I took a seat next to Elisa and Diego was next to her. Hernando was sitting next to me and in front of me was Amedeo. My dad then comes in and sits next to Amedeo. "Good morning dad" I said but he ignored me. The others came and they took a seat. "Good morning everyone" I said but they ignored me too. "Good morning hermana" Hernando said and I smiled at him. "Morning Isabel," Alora said while smiling at me. The food came and they started eating. I looked at the food and was not feeling for it at all. It was kinda awkward breakfast, no one talked and when I tried to make conversation they just ignored me and I am a little bit hurt by that. "I have seen that ring before" Eduardo said and then pointed at my finger.

"Really" I said, trying not to look him in the eyes. "Now that I think about it, me too" Mila said and they all agreed with her. I just stayed quiet and was looking down at my food, I even tried to eat a little bit of it. "I remember now, it was a gift that someone gave you on your birthday. You said it was from a secret admirer" Amedeo said. "Omg yes I remember now" Ali said and they all did. Well except for Alora she wasn't even there.

I then chuckled at them and looked them dead in the eyes. "I have actually no idea what you are talking about, that ring got lost and this one is my engagement ring and the other one is just a promise ring Alek gave me" I said and I saw how Leila got confused. "He still has that ring?" She asked. "Yeah, he has kept all the gifts he had given me when we were younger" I said and then it was this complete silence. "Is something wrong, why are you ignoring me?" I said. "Because you got married to a sick bastard and our worst enemy!" My dad said in an angry and loud tone. This is the first time he has ever spoken to me like that. Suddenly I felt this sickness creepin to my body and I felt like throwing up. I quickly got and ran to a bathroom and locked myself in it. I opened the toilet seat and started to throw up.
