8.3 First Blue Star - The Former Mercenary King

The Mercenary King is a famous individual. He completed his mission with 100 percentage. A perfect mission and widely spread fame. Males and females all adore him. He is a man who could go both ways as long as the counterpart is beautiful.

His combat capabilities were precise yet aggressive with this strength cut above the rest he could almost do anything he wanted. He is also witty enough not to be taken advantage of. He is a male god type but unfortunately, when he transmigrated to the other world, everything had been reversed.

His former six-pack abs refined throughout his adventure had turned into a soft and flat board. His hard muscled arms from years of training had turned to fair and flawless. It was even softer than females.

After digesting the fact that he is no longer in his own room and possesses a different body that the Mercenary King panics for the first time. His heartbeat and mind were both in chaos as he could believe that those things he read from a danmei book before would happen to be the same world he had transmigrated with.

The mercenary scanned the whole room and immediately spotted the location that was most likely to be the bathroom. He runs off to look at his appearance reflected in the mirror.

Seeing the delicate features which almost made him look so fragile. Staring at those pairs of peach blossom eyes and purple irises looking back at him. Similar features in detail explained in the book suddenly appearing in front makes the Mercenary King realize what his transmigration ended us.

"What the fuck!? Of all people, why this one!?" shrieked the Mercenary King while gripping his ordinary chocolate brown hair. "Why the hell did I have to become that pale-faced Bai Yuyan na!?"

[Ding! Mercenary System Activated! Host Bai Yuyan had been completely registered.]

The Mercenary King heard the sound of the system that accompanies him all his life as a Mercenary. It was thanks to this system that he was able to become the king among all mercenaries. This system helps him check on people's capabilities and estimate his death rate.

It would also give away some opinion during the mission which would give which routes would allow him to choose his ending. This system had its own intelligence like an AI.

The Mercenary King would now be called Bai Yuyan.

"Tsk! Who would expect that you would also accompany me even here, Stella."

[A/n: The Mercenary King calls his system Stella which means star. As he treats Stella as the guiding star of his life.]

[You are awake, Host. Stella will now send you the information of the vessel the host is in and knowledge of this world. Plus the memories of that vessel. Please bear the pain, Host.]

As soon as System Stella finished speaking with his host, an electrifying pain spread in Bai Yuyan's body. He could only slouch at the rink of the bathroom writhing in pain. Groans and pants echo with the area as Bai Yuyan clutches his head as his whole body is covered in cold sweats.

Arrgh~ pants~ urgh~

After a minute, Bai Yuyan was given everything he needed to be able to adapt to this world.

"Thank God, this kid is an orphan with few friends. There is no need to pretend too much as I live in this world. According to the knowledge you've passed to me in this world there are unique people called sentinels and guides.

Sentinels were the strongest kind of being in the world and could be considered someone from the demigod race. They possess strength beyond normal and a spirit that could control the energy of this world but they are prone to what they called mania where they would sometimes lose their mind and fall into madness.
