8.85 First Blue Star - Everyone's Mission

Feng Yang calls for his younger brother who is covered in blood from head to toes.

"Xiao Jing?"

The echoing wails of the former Major General Navi Itri and his spoiled prince-like son, Navi Naja resound all over the place. The soreness and discomfort are evident with how much their struggles are on the ground. The pain was tormenting enough that they couldn't even hold back their screams until their voices had gone hoarse.

Feng Jing, who heard someone call his name, looked at the source and saw his relatives and husband coming over. The expression on his face couldn't help but be mellow at their presence especially upon seeing his other half.

"Sisi! Big brothers! Big Sis! Your meeting is over?" asked Feng Jing with a gentle smile. If not because he is completely dyed in the blood that this scene would look warm but right now it also felt surreal and a bit eerie.

It's like seeing a child covered in blood when he gets home with a huge smile on his face after playing outside until he is satisfied. Feng Yang and the rest stiffened when they saw Feng Jing walking over to them. The latter of course noticed their reactions and also halted his steps. His smile remains friendly regardless of his siblings' reactions. Among the newly arrived group, only Marshal Sirius steps out without fear nor hesitation at his movements. He walks slowly yet urgently when he sees his wife's awkward situation.

Stopping just in front of his wife, the marshal reached his hands and carried Feng Jing in his arms. He acted as if he didn't see the blood on Feng Jing's clothes and treated him precisely as he had always been.

"Had enough fun? Let's go take a bath and eat dinner after, baby~" said Marshal Sirius who kissed his lover's cheeks unmindful of blood staining his cuddly cheeks.

This sweet gesture made Feng Jing happy and gave his husband a short kiss. "A reward~"

"Not enough," said Marshal Sirius.

Feng Jing smiled truthfully towards his husband, "Let's continue in our room, My love."

"Um!"

The Marshal ignores everyone's gaze on them and walks away carrying his wife in his embrace. Everyone looks at the couple weirdly yet yearning. Such undying love, to like and cherish someone regardless of what, how, and why. Feng Jing and Marshal Sirius possess this kind of immortal affection between the two of them. Everyone stared at the couple until they disappeared from their line of sight. They were only brought back to reality when they heard the two remaining members of Navi struggling in pain on the dusty cold ground.

AARRGHHH!~

The expression on Feng Yang and the rest instantly turned cold...

"Someone threw the trash back to the prison. Since Xiao Jing, they would die tonight, let them suffer and wait for them to die on their own. The rest clean up! After dinner, there would be a special announcement for everyone. Disperse!" said Major General Feng Yang as he also left to look for his lover. Lieutenant General Nova Seren stayed to supervise while waiting for her husband to come.

After a few hours, Lieutenant General Nova Revel arrived on the planet. His wife had welcomed him warmly with dinner prepared for him and his fleet. After greeting the marshal and exchanging a few words to each other, Lieutenant General Nova Revel accompanied her wife all night. There he heard the mission his wife had received from the Marshal. He seriously thought of things before ending up accepting the mission given to them.

When the dinner was over, an announcement about the varying missions was declared. First, they could come home to the Empire and help the group led by Lieutenant General Xue Ying, Major General Drake, and Major General Lin Tang in protecting the people at the capital.
