8.10 First Blue Star - Flare with Phoenix Crest

What happened to Marshal Sirius' side before falling into the territory of the Feng Clan.

A few days ago, before the accident. Marshal Sirius and his unit just got back from the mission and were intending to return to the Oberion Empire to report back to the Federation.

On their way back, Cielo, the dragon king quantum beast of the Marshal, was forcing his master to find the young man he saw in the video. For some unknown reason, Cielo is greatly attracted to the youngest phoenix of the Feng Family.

He was going to ignore his quantum beast request as he had no reasonable excuse to visit Feng Jing as they haven't officially met at all.

Cielo is currently biting his master's head as he throws tantrums.

Whining~

Marshal Altair, "Tsk! I told you! You can see him during the competition!"

Whining~

"What do you mean you can't wait that long? Do you miss him? Crazy! You haven't even met each other face to face!"

Whining!

"Ow! Stop that you're going to make me bald! Cielo!"

While this master and his quantum beast are having a spat, Xue Ying the Marshal's right-hand man comes running over with a pale face.

Xue Ying spoke, "Marshal! Emergency! The news from home said that the Madam, your mother, had been poisoned!"

"Poisoned!? How did this happen!?" asked the Marshal.

Xue Ying replied, "According to the people at home. The Madam had attended a banquet with the Dracos. She couldn't decline as the insignia is from the Janus Clan!"

"Those damn old bastards! I'm taking my leave. Prepare my personal mecha."

"Marshal, let me accompany you!" said Xue Ying.

Marshal Sirius replied, "No need! It would be faster to go there alone. Send me the coordinates. I'm leaving now!"

"Yes, Sir!" the soldiers inside the spacecraft saluted collectively.

The Marshal took his leave alone using his own mecha only to be ambushed on his way. When he couldn't connect to the star network nor contact his parents he knew that it was a trap. The news Xue Ying must have gotten were fakes which means there are traitors in his unit.

The numbers of assassins that surrounded him were almost 50 mechas. It is not even an ordinary mech but a customized one that only Sentinels whose rank ranges from B to S. Clearly, the mastermind of this charade wanted to take his life.

"Tsk! Their numbers are almost endless. After destroying a batch a new one would reinforce immediately. If this continues I would end up in a mania state before losing consciousness!"

The Marshal keeps fighting until he overuses his spirit just to kill off his pursuers only for the enemy to send another batch more. In his weakened state, he overloads his qi to escape from his enemies, this causes him to lose control over his spiritual realm. His over-exposure to qi made him enter a mania state. Before he loses consciousness he felt Cieli override the control of his mecha and flew in the direction which leads to the territory of the Phoenix Clan.

There he met the person who had been haunting his dreams ever since he saw him in that live stream at the star network.
