chapter two

My dad knew how important my work was to me, i put it before almost everything.

I spoke with my dad for a little while before i went upstairs to get some sleep, it wasn't ridiculously late but i was tired.

the next morning

I woke up the next morning and got ready for the gym. I loved the gym.

I put on some black leggings and a matching sports bra and left my house.

When i got to the gym I put on my favourite playlist and started working out.

About an hour and a half later I decided to head home, I had a shower and sorted my hair and makeup out for the day.

'Hi sweetie, I wanted to take you out for a coffee or something in celebration of your work,' my dad said, poking his head round my bedroom door.

'Oh hey dad, yea of course give me ten minutes and I'll be ready,' I say, smiling.

I brushed my teeth and quickly sorted my bedroom out then went out with my dad.

'What would you guys like,' the waitress asked us.

'Coffee for me please.' My dad said.

'I'll get the same, oh and a brownie please,' I say.

We sit in the cafe and enjoy our drinks.

'I never really speak to you about it el, do you enjoy it here?' My father asks.

'Yea it's good. I enjoy work and I have a few friends,' I say.

'You seen maddie recently?' He asks.

'Oh no she's on holiday with Kai, in Spain' i say.

'Oh I see, what about gio?' He asks.

'Yea i saw him yesterday. And I'm watching his game later,' I say.

'Oh lovely! You've got a busy afternoon coming then,' he says.

I enjoy talking to my dad, we sat in the cafe for about an hour or so.

Later on that afternoon I was sat on my bed when gio called me.

'Hello?' I say down the phone.

'Hi Ellie, I was just wondering if you wanted to come over before the game? Erling is here.' He says.

'Oh yea I don't mind, I'm pretty bored so I'll be there in 5.' I say.

'Okay brilliant, bye.' he says, ending the call.

I say goodbye to my dad and get into my car to
go to Gio's house.

When i arrive I walk straight in and Erlings sat on the sofa.

'Oh hey Ellie.' He says.

'Hey, where's gio?' I ask putting my stuff down.

'Oh he's gone upstairs i dunno,' he shrugs.

'Oh right.' I say, sitting down.

Gio comes back down a few minutes later.

'Oh hey Ellie I was just grabbing my stuff,' he says.

'When do you leave?' I ask.

'Oh in around 30 minutes. Jude's coming in about 15 with Marco to pick us all up.' He says.

'Oh right I see, what am I gonna do?' I ask

'Come with us idiot,' he says laughing.

'I'm not,' I say, giving him a glare.

'Oh Ellie I'm joking!' He smirks.

'Prankster you are,' Erling says.

'Your both annoying by the way,' I say.

'Yea okay,' Gio says.

A little while later Jude and Marco arrive.

'Oh shit sorry Jude I forgot to bring your jumper,' I say, I only thought about that at the moment I saw him.

'Oh don't worry,' he says, smiling.

'Nice to see you Ellie,' Marco says, I haven't seen him in forever. Well, not since I watched the last Borussia Dortmund game which must've been about a month or more ago.

I hug him and everyone sits down for a drink before they all leave, I speak with gio and decide to stay here until I need to leave for the game. 

Eventually they all leave, i sit watching Netflix on Gio's Tv. Hours pass and I sit there watching tv without even realising.  And before I know it it's time to leave for the game.

I head out and get into my car, i drive to the stadium and take my seat. I sit there awkwardly, not really knowing what to do with myself.

A lady comes and sits down next to me, with a younger lad. The younger lad looks a lot like jude.

'Hi sorry to bother you sweet do you know how long till the game starts,' she asks me, smiling.

'Oh, ten minutes,' I say, smiling too.

'Ah thank you so much. Jobe run and get me a drink would you, take my card and get one for yourself too.' She says to the young boy.

That's when I realised It was Jude's mother and his younger brother. Denise and Jobe Bellingham.

The game starts and after 20 minutes Dortmund are up to 1-0.
