By the end of the game, Dortmund win 2-1, everyone goes to greet the players after the match.

'you played well,' Ellie said, Gio smiled at the compliment.

'thank you..' he said.

'And you, Jude.' she said, as he came along.

'oh thanks,' he said, smiling.

Ellie didn't really have a soft side, she was more a stubborn person, never really showed much love for others.

A little while later Ellie was round gio's with Erling. They were sat on the sofa, eating pizza and playing fifa.

'Your so bad Ellie,' Erling said, laughing.

'Me? Bad?,' she smirked.

'Yes you. bad.' He said laughing with gio.

'Okay then,' she said, starting a new match.

And with that, she won 4-1.

'Okay fine i take it back,' Erling says laughing.

'You better,' she said, laughing too.

Just then her phone rang.

'Hold on let me just take this call.' She said, leaving the room.

Caller: Hi is this Ellie Garcia?
E: yes it is, who's this?
Caller: Hi, I'm phoning from the hospital, i know this will be a huge shock for you love but your dad is here.
E: What? why? Is he okay? What's happened!
Caller: Calm down darling, I'm sorry to say but he's in a life threatening condition after being in a fatal Car accident.
E: WHAT? WHY WASN'T I TOLD?
caller: please remain cal-

The call cut off. Gio came out and saw her on her knees, crying.

'Ellie? What's wrong?'

He came down to her level and comforted her.

'I need, I need to go the hospital! My dads there Gio please.'

' it's gonna be okay Ellie, we'll take you there.' He said, holding her in his arms.

Erling came out and gio told him to go get the car started whilst he got Ellie up.

'Come on, let's go Ellie.' He said, helping her up.

They all get into the car and drove as fast as possible to the hospital.

When they arrived Ellie ran in to find out where her father was.

She sat waiting around, the doctors refused to let her in to see her dad.

Gio held Ellie tightly in a hug, comforting her.
Erling drove back to Gio's home as Jude and Marco were already coming.

'What am i gonna do,' she said.

'It's gonna be okay Ellie, you can stay at mine tonight. It'll be okay. I promise,' he said, wiping her tears.

Gio was like her older brother, he helped Ellie through everything. He helped her up, he supported her, she helped him up, she supported him. They're like family.

- Ellie's pov -

'Your going to have to leave, your father is staying here for the time being,' the doctor said.

I sighed and started to cry again.

Gio led me out and Erling came to pick us up.
I can't really remember what happened, i was so overwhelmed I just fell asleep in the car.

The next thing I remember was waking up and the lights were dim. I was laying on Gio's sofa under a blanket. Candles were still lit but it was extremely quiet. My phone lay next to me and I picked it up to check the time.

2:49am

I looked over at the other sofas and saw Erling asleep on one and Jude asleep on the other.

I rolled back over and fell asleep again.

- The next morning -

I woke up, my face felt numb. My makeup was smudged completely and my hair was just slumped in a messy bun.

I fixed my hair and went to the bathroom to wash my face with some water, when I went into the kitchen Gio and Jude were standing there.

Marco and Erling had obviously left.

'Ellie,' gio said.

'What,' i said, it sounded rude. But he'd understand.

'Do you wanna go back to the hospital today?' he asked.

'Yea, not yet though.' I said, sighing.

'I'm sorry Ellie, I hope he'll be okay,' Jude said.

'Thanks...Jude.' I said, sighing and putting on a smile.

Gio passed me a glass of water, i needed it. Honestly my throat was so dry I thought it was gonna close up.

I drank the entire glass and the three of us sat and watched the morning news.

'Fatal crash in the German city, Dortmund.' The reporter began.

'Three dead, and 2 in life threatening conditions after a lorry flipped onto 3 smaller vehicles.' She said.

Jude grabbed the remote and switched it off.

'Thanks...' I said. Looking down.
