Not long later the movie they were watching had finished. Jude suggested they headed back to his place, Ellie agreed and so she turned off all the lights and locked the front door before getting into Jude's car.

- Ellie's pov -

We drove back to Jude's house, surprisingly it didn't take too long. 10 minutes or so.

When we arrived it was quiet, but i could hear a voice in a room round the corner.

'That would be Jobe aha' jude said.

I laughed, I took my shoes off and followed jude through the house.

'I'm home Jobe,' he shouted as we walked past the room and into his kitchen.

'Finally, is there any food?' Jobe said, coming out the room as I was walking past.

'Oh...sorry I thought you were Jude,' he said.

'I'm here dumbass,' jude said.

'Oh right, is there?' He asked.

'Food? No. Order some pizza or whatever. Also say hi Jobe,' jude said.

'Oh your Ellie right?' He asked.

'Yea.' I smiled.

'Oh nice to see you,' he said.

'Nice to see you too,' i said too.

I was glad Jobe and I had met before, otherwise things were going to be really awkward.

Jude, Jobe and I all sat in the lounge talking. Jude and Jobe were playing FIFA against each other and the pizza arrived.

I went to the door whilst they were playing.

'Hi this is for Jobe bellingham, correct?,' the delivery guy asked.

'Yea, that's here. Thanks' I said, smiling and taking the pizza.

I shut the door and brought the pizzas through.

'Ahhh I'm starving,' Jobe opened up the pizza and we all had some.

'So you guys hm?' Jobe said, smirking.

I could tell things were about to get awkward.

'No Jobe,' jude said, laughing.

'We're just good friends,' he added.

'Yea okay, the laughing says it all,' Jobe laughed.

'Honestly Jobe were just friends,' i said, laughing too.

'You guys are such bad liars,' he said.

'No actually Jobe, like mums,' jude said.

'Okay okay fine,' he said.

About an hour and a half later I was upstairs in the guest bedroom, I had showered and got changed into the spare clothes i brung.

I was sat on the bed on my phone, I could hear Jude and Jobe in another room.

I couldn't really understand what they were saying but i heard Jobe say 'you definitely like her' and I won't lie it did excite me a little but I couldn't mention I heard anything.

I was so interested and in my own world at Jude's house I had completely forgotten about
Gio and what he was doing.

My phone buzzed.

Message from - Gio💙

Gio💙
Ellie where are you? just got home, things didn't go so well so I came back but ur not here? Are you alright?

I put my phone down and went out to find Jude and showed him the message.

'Shit..' he said.

'Yea what do I do? He's gonna assume so much shit if i tell him I was here.' I say, sort of panicking.

'How about i just drop you back and you say you went out to get some time for yourself?' He suggested.

'Yea but...never mind,' I say, almost slipping too much again.

'But?,' he says, curiously.

'Honestly it doesn't matter, let's just go with your plan,' I say.

'Are you sure?,' he says.

'Yes.' I say.

I was a little annoyed that I had to go, I was enjoying it here.

Another message from gio popped up.

Gio💙
Can I come pick you up from wherever you are? I can see you've seen my message yk

Fuck. I thought.

'Erm jude is it okay if you drop me at the church, I just want to see my dad quickly.'

'Yea course, will you be okay on your own?' He asked.

I smiled. He was so sweet.

'Yes, I should be. Thank you though,' I said, smiling.

'Okay let's get going then,' he said.

We got into his car and i directed him to the church yard. I didn't really fancy becoming emotional but I suppose I didn't have a choice.

We pulled up outside the gate of the church yard.

'Thank you jude, I appreciate this,' i said, smiling.

'That's okay el, message me if you need anything.' He said smiling as I got out the car.

My heart dropped. El. Nobody called me that, except my father. He used to. I smiled sweetly and closed the car door and he drove away.
