chapter sixteen

'Oh hey Ellie,' gio said, as i walked in the front door.

'Hey,' i smiled.

'Sooo,' he said.

'What?' I said.

'Jude and you!!' He laughed.

'Oh stop,' i went red.

'I'm so happy for you though, you deserve nothing but to be happy,' he smiled, hugging me.

'Thank you gio.' I said, smiling too.

I went upstairs and got showered, I was all sweaty and gross.

I got changed into a cute outfit and went downstairs to grab a snack.

'Hey Ellie I'm going out tonight,' Gio said.

'Oh really? Who with?' I asked.

'A girl,' he smirked.

'No way!' I said.

'Yea, she's so much lovelier than the last girl,' he said.

'Aw that's good. Are you taking her for food or what?' I said, stirring my coffee.

'Yea I'm taking her dinner and then we're gonna go back to her house.' He smiled.

'Oh lovely!' I said.

'Well, have fun,' i said, going back up to my room.

I messaged jude.

Ellie:
Come stay here tonight then🙄

Jude🤍:
Only cos I love you🙄

Ellie:

I put my phone down and went for a nap, i was super tired.

The next thing I remember was waking up to Gio saying my name.

'Ellie,' he whispered.

'What?' I said, waking up.

'I'm about to go out but I don't know about this outfit,' he said.

I rubbed my eyes.

'It looks good,' i said.

'Are you sure? Your like half asleep,' he laughed.

'Yes honestly it looks good.' I said again.

'Okay thanks..ill see you tomorrow,' he said.

'Your leaving now?' I asked.

'Yea it's 7pm,' he said.

'Is it really? Shit! I've been asleep the entire day!' I said.

He laughed.

'Bye ellie,' he said.

'Have fun,' i said as he left.

I messaged Jude asking him when he was coming and he said he was 5 minutes away.

When he arrived he came up to my room.

'Hey,' he said, coming into the room.

'Oh hey, I haven't seen you in ages,' i laughed.

'Your funny,' he said, playfully rolling his eyes.

He lay next to me on the bed and whipped out chocolate, a coffee and some flowers out of no where.

'Aw your so sweet,' i said pecking his lips.

'Have to treat you like a princess,' he smiled.

'You don't have to but I love that you do,' i smiled too.

'How could I not,' he laughed.

We put on Netflix and just lay together binge watching shows.

'Do you wanna get food I'm kinda hungry,' i suggested.

'I can cook if you like.' He said.

'Oh so you cook huh,' I giggled.

'I'll have you know I'm a great cook,' he said.

'Is that so?' I laughed, knowing I was winding him up.

'Yes.' He said.

'Prove it,' I laughed.

And with that we went downstairs and I put on the tv whilst he started cooking.

'It smells good,' i said.

'It doesn't look good but we trust the process init,' he laughs.

I laughed too.

He had cooked a really nice pasta with a creamy sauce. It looked delicious.

We sat down at the table and ate the food.

'So what do you think?' He asks.

'It tastes amazing, i honestly didn't think you'd be the type of person to be such a good chef,' i laughed.

'Oh well at least it's good,' he said.

'Yea it's amazing.' I said.

'Oh my mum said the next game there is she can bring you,' he said, sipping his drink.

'Ah okay wonderful, do you know when it is?' I asked.

'I think it's on Friday, so 4 days time,' he said.

'Oh okay good because I have work Thursday but my Friday work is cancelled so.' I said.

'Good. I want you to come to this game,' he said.

'Why's that?' I asked.

'You'll see,' he laughed.

'Ugh I hate surprises' i said.

'I wouldn't say it's a surprise but..' he laughed.

'Still!' I said.

'It's not even that long away, you'll be fine,' he said.

'Hmmm okay,' i said.

After dinner we went back upstairs and watched more Netflix until we both fell asleep wrapped up in each-others arms.

It seems ridiculous to say but I never thought a person could feel like home. But I guess they can because he did.
