Cheryl's POVI realise I may be staring at her but there's not one part of me that wants to look away. She's so beautiful.
I stop staring at her when I realise she is making her way over to me and I notice the only free seat is next to me.
Mel, Simon and Louis have gone back to their conversation next to me and I just watch her walk over. She looks so confident, she's dressed in jeans and a vest top but she still manages to look amazing.
She takes her seat next to me, puts her phone on the table in front of us next to mine and turns to me.
"Hi, I'm Kimberley."
"Hi, I'm Cheryl." We shake hands and I smile at how formal she is being but I can tell she is the type of person that will be like this at first but once you get to know her she will crazy.
"So your the new Xtra Factor host?"
"Yeah, I'm really excited."
"It is a good job, I have to admit."
"It sounds it, I've been told from Simon that as well as interviewing people that audition I'm also talking a lot more to the judges this year so you'll be seeing a lot of me." She smiles and I already know it's probably one of my favourite sights.
"I'll be looking forward to that then." As soon as I said that I regretted it. I've just met her, I shouldn't be saying anything like that. However she didn't seem to mind and the smile on her face turned bigger and I couldn't help but match it.
Before either of us can say anything else my phone vibrates on the top of the table and a message appeared on my lock screen from Jean.
Come home as soon as possible, we need to talk. I'm not impressed
I quickly grab my phone off the table, getting a few confused stares from the people around us at my fast movements, trying to make sure nobody saw the message. But by the look on Kimberley's face I know she saw it, the smile has gone and she looks as if she is trying to figure something out.
She didn't say anything about it but I think she would have if one of the producers didn't start the meeting.
Throughout the meeting I couldn't help stealing glances at Kim and I noticed I wasn't the only one.
She kept secretly looking at me too and when one of the producers passed us a piece of paper to look at, she leant forward next to me to read it. I couldn't seem to focus on the paper because all I could focus on was the smell of her perfume and the feel of her next to me.
I can't seem to control my feelings at the moment. I'm pretty sure I'm straight, but I can't seem to stop thinking about her. Maybe I don't like her in that way. Maybe I just want someone to be close to again. Like a best friend?
"Cheryl?"
I slightly jump out of my skin when I hear her voice and she laughs slightly.
"Sorry, I was in my own world then."
"I noticed, you were just sat there. The meetings over by the way."
I looked away from her eyes and round the table to notice not as many people sat there as before and everyone was now talking.
"I'm guessing you zoned out during that meeting then?" She looked at me with a cheeky smile on her face and I was feeling comfortable around her already.
"No, of course not." I winked at her and she could tell that I was joking.
She moved her head next to mine and as she whispered into my ear I felt her breath against it. It made my whole body heat up and I hoped she didn't notice it. "Don't worry, I did the same."
