Lenny sighed deeply in exasperation and pinched the bridge of his nose between his fingers as he shut his eyes tightly, taking a deep breath to try to hold his composure.

He crumpled up the dark green wrapping paper littered with sparkling snowflakes and candy canes and chucked it into the already overflowing bin.

He reached over and grabbed the roll of gift wrap, cutting out another piece in hopes of managing to wrap y/n's Christmas gift neatly.

All his other tries failed miserably and looked as if a blind T-Rex bundled it together.

He really wanted everything to be perfect for his first Christmas with his girlfriend y/n.

He saved up for quite some time to get her a cozy scarf she had her eyes on for a while as well as a pretty delicate silver bracelet from Tiffany & Co. which he thought she would like.

He folded the scarf and put it in a box with the bracelet in the tiffany blue packaging underneath it as a little surprise.

He also added a small folded note on top of it saying:

"Merry Christmas, y/n.

I love you

-Lenny"

and scribbled a little heart on it as well.

He placed the box face down on the wrapping paper spread out in front of him and took another deep breath before he began to carefully fold the paper around it.

He taped it at all the places he thought it would be necessary – which was a lot of tape – and began folding the sides.

He actually managed to wrap it without tearing the edges yet it still looked crumpled and wrinkled although he tried wrapping it as tight as possible.

He looked at the package for a moment before groaning out in frustration. He took a red ribbon and tied it around in defeat.

After making a bow in the center he picked up the present and turned it around in his hands, eyeing every side and corner of it and feeling slightly disappointed.

It still wasn't how he wanted it to look like.

But he didn't have enough wrapping paper left since he threw away most of it after he messed it up.

He placed it back on his desk and got up from the chair, stretching his limbs as he did so and emitted a pop from his shoulder.

He gazed out the small window across the room and noticed that it was already dark out.

When he started to wrap y/n's gift it was still daylight

He decided to call it a day and drank the last bit of his iced tea.

He turned off the lights and trudged over to his single bed, letting himself plop down onto the mattress.

He pulled his covers over himself and fell asleep after tossing and turning around for an hour.

As the sun entered through his window its rays landed upon Lenny's face, tickling his nose and blinding his eyes as he opened them.

He groaned as he sat up and pulled the covers away, revealing the clothes he slept in were the same ones he wore yesterday.
