A chance to recover from the horrors school brings with it. An opportunity to relax and be happy

Be it mutant or human, they had one thing in common: They both cherished it greatly

Kurt Wagner, recent addition to Xavier's school, was no exception to that. With Douglas, his roommate, being away at the library, the room was all his to enjoy

And boy did he

"♫~You are the dancing queen~♫"

Music echoed through the room as the young man danced joyfully to the music Dazzler shared with him last night

"♫~Young and sweet. Only seventeen~♩"

He hadn't had much of a chance to experience the local culture, but this? He grew fond of quickly

It was not at all difficult to move to the rhythm when it was so catc--

Kitty: Hiya Kurt!

Kurt: AHHHHHHHH!!!

He shrieked at the sight of the young girl phasing into his room and fell back into his bed

As for Kitty herself, she couldn't help but laugh at his reaction

Kurt: Oh mein Gott, Kitty! Why don't you use a door?!

The girl shrugged before she leaned against the desk where the computer was playing music

A gasp left her lips the moment she recognized the song, and shortly after, an even bigger smile followed

"♫~Dancing queen~♫"

Kitty: Oh I love this song!

Much like Kurt before her, Kitty didn't hesitate to let loose and enjoy the melody

"♫Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah!~♩"

However, even if he did feel it, Kurt was no longer in the mood to groove along...mainly because his heart was still racing

Of course, this didn't go unnoticed by the friendly intruder

Kitty: Oh come on. It's okay!

She then placed her hands on her waist and stroke a pose

Kitty: You just got spooked by the stealthiest mutant in the mansion!

But all this did was earn a raised brow from the blue teenager, to which she scoffed

Kitty: What! It's true!

Kurt: I must disagree with you

Dumbfounded, Kitty paused the music to focus on the discussion

Kitty: What? Who could possibly be stealthier than the girl who phases through things?!

Kurt crossed his arms

Kurt: Maybe the boy who teleports

She laughed at this statement much to his dismay

Kitty: As if! I literally just snuck up on you Besides, you always leave that pink cloud whenever you do

The young man leaped out of bed to stand face-to-face with her

Kurt: Maybe so, but I can cover much more ground than you, Fräulein

At this point, the pair had been fully absorbed by this debate, finding some sort of amusement in it

Kitty: Oh yeah? Prove it! I'll beat you to it
